These are think and strong. Using them to secure something on a boat. The hooks are coated with rubber or plastic, which was a good surprise.

Worked like a charm

I can't say much about the longevity of the bungees except that, by the looks of them I would guess I'll have them for a long time. They are bungees the way they were built in the 60's when I was a kid. Heavy duty hooks and solid, firm bungees that look very nicely wrapped in a durable cover. I was very pleased when I saw them.

These bungees are great and hold up well. My only issue is with the metal hook tips. They tend to be sharp and may cut you if you are not careful. I put the ends to a grinder to fix the issue. Not a big deal - unless you cut yourself of course. This is why I dropped a star - for quality control. But I would still recommend them.

Update: 3rd purchase! These are great! First of all, I’ve had these since last summer with the intense sun, and now lots of rain, and they have held up like a champ! In fact, I just bought four more. They seem a little pricey, but are very well built, and won’t disintegrate like some of the other ones. I put it around and hook it to my 4 foot wire convertible fence I have for my cats so it won’t blow over in the wind and they can’t knock it over to get out. I’ve also now use them to hold down the rolldown screen outside on my deck from the wind, blowing it, and the curtains all over the place. I keep finding reasons to buy more! Lol I would buy them for any project I needed bungee cords for though these are built to last! Great quality!

Purchased these bungee cords at a much higher cost than the ones I had bought at Dollarama. The quality is far superior and you can tell by stretching them that they are made to last. I can't comment on long term performance at this point as I just received them but they are rated for marine environment which is what I am using them for, to secure my kayak to the storage rack which is on my dock.
