Brooks/Cole Empowerment Series: Introduction to Social Work and Social Welfare

Words cannot explain how much joy feel me once I seen this book in my mailbox. It was a great price and the last to ship out of three different ones that I ordered. However it was the FIRST to arrive and not just that, but way before the expected delivery date. The text looks to be in great condition. I am very satisfied!!!

This is a good text to use with a larger cohort than we usually have in our program. I would like to see more on Women's issues and especially women in Social Work. There are very high percentages of our clients and patients who have significant drug and alcohol problems in rural areas. What is written may work in urban/populated areas, not so much for us country folks and especially Latinos and Native Americans.

I received my book in the exact time promised and it was and still is in excellent condition. Social Work and Social Welfare is meeting all of my expectations for my current class and assignments. I look forward to ordering more book in the near future.
