This book was almost ok until the end. I am so pissed off. It is a dumb cliffhanger and this was a fluff piece that got us nowhere. We go thru the motions again w the relationship btwn Sky and Quell. Something that should have ended in the last book but continues to be strung along. Then there is crazy Demetrius. I feel like we were going in circles in this book and truly not getting anywhere. The villains that were introduced make no sense. Too much and nothing going on at the same time. If there had been more substance to the ending i would have no problem giving this 4 stars but i am truly pissed off abt this ending. Also Sky needs to grow. She is still acting so naive and stubborn abt stuff she should be past by now. It's no longer cute and admirable, its annoying. I don't even know if i would say the next one is worth reading of not for the fact that closure is needed. Extremely disappointed!!

Another home run for this series! I love the characters and look forward to every new book. This book was very emotional and delved deeply into the characters thoughts and feelings. I feel like I've learned so much about the characters and I can appreciate them so much more. Believe me I didn't think I could say that!!!! When you're talking about the 6th book in a series everything is pretty developed so you feel like you know the world and story. Not so with this series it continues to grow and evolve. Such fantastic writing. I recieved this book as an ARC from the author for an honest review.

This book didnt have as much action as I have come to expect from McKenzie. It was more back and forth between emotions and feelings than action. I do love the way some things progressed and came out in the open while some new things happened that brought up more questions. I still like this series and continue to look forward to the next installment.

Another excellent installment in the series, I was sorry to come to the end. The characters are a nice change from the norm - Sky definitely has a unique voice, different from the run of the mill “badass” heroine. She’s still got spirit and a sense of humour and I totally enjoy reading her story. Looking forward to the next book!

This one is my favorite so far. I know there is only one more in the series, but I have loved this series from the beginning. I have enjoyed watching Sky grow with each book. Unlike many, I have always liked Ethan and felt he had deeper motivations for his actions. I am glad it shown more implicitly.

Really fantastic series. Each book just makes you want to read the next. I am looking forward to the next and I have heard final book in this series. I just love the characters and the way the author developed them all throughout the series. A must read!!!

McKenzie Hunter, as always, creates a world you fall in love with! The interpersonal relationships and interactions is full of drama, love, hate, and everything in between!! She leaves you living in suspense for the next book to come out!!

I need the next book like i need to breathe! Skylar is my favourite character in all the books i have read though i do want to strangle her sometimes! You know its a good book when the you feel like you know the characters on a personal level.

Every time I finished a book from the sky brooks series .. I m sad , I love the characters and the story lines , the twists the turns, but most of all the lol moments they provide.. I can highly recommend this series , you really are missing out on an epic escape from reality that McKenzie hunter s world provides. Enjoy x
