At first I thought these shirts were going to be short and wide but they were actually just right for my husband who is 6 1 and long. These fit, long enough to be tucked in.

Not black
Inexpensive, especially for Hanes. Wish I could have found them in true black instead of Hershey's chocolate colored.

Size down one!
They are baggy in the shoulders, so couldn’t wear them as an under shirt. So, next time sizing down is needed.

A bit rough on the skin but the fit is ok.

Mystery hole opened up on a new shirt
Wore one before washing it and halfway through the day a 2mm hole appeared, center chest, with a run extending down from it. I think it was a loom error rather than an accident from me. So there is one of the pack of four that only saw a few hours of daylight.

Although these shirts are not a thick as the other big name brands, they are quite comfortable and fit nicely.

Size is always great, I’ve ordered several times. Sometimes they’re thicker, sometimes the fabric is thinner which is weird but the husband likes no matter what.

I bought a 6 pack of the XL version of these to replace an older version. These cheap basic T-shirts were perfect for most uses from physical work to working out to sleeping. They had a loose comfortable fit, were durable, not too thick, soft material, and did not lose their shape over time. Even the tagless labels stayed visible after many years of use and their seams did not wear out.These are too thick, feel coarse despite being 100% cotton, and fit too tightly both in the chest and torso. I am an average height stocky male with a thicker chest. It seems like Hanes is trying for a slimmer more stylish fit (probably not the realistic target demographic for a $6/ea T-shirt) while cheaping out on the material quality. These also have tags unlike the older version.These guys make great boxer briefs (bought two different styles recently), but this product is a fail vs the past. Returned.

comfortable, feels high quality, i wear them almost everyday
they fit well, no taper in them which is good but the price being upped is something to look at, I think these plain black shirts should be cheaper then theyre priced however.
