Very usable, easy to store, durable.

Bought this specifically for use in our RV, with the main selling points being it's collapsible and has the stainless steel bottom and other parts. Units that are all silicone made me a little nervous for their sturdiness when dumping a pot of boiling water with pasta into it. Have used it several times already and it works great. I love that I can customize how much I open it - handy when I have a smaller amount of food to strain. Great for camper use!

This collabsible silicone colander takes up very little space in your cabinet. It's great for small kitchens/tinyhomes. We've had it about a year and use it often. We like that it has a stainless steel bottom to keep the colander's shape and take heat from draining items such as pasta. It cleans up easily. We saw it in a specialty home goods store for almost double the price that you can find it on Amazon. Great value!

These things save so much storage area in a small kitchen. Folds flat and is as depicted. It's a touch more inconvenient to have to pound it out to size...because it's not as stiff on the sides and you do push the bottom to get it to stand tall. In the end, so easy to clean...so easy to store... and more room for other stuff when you do. I've had mine a month or so now and I find that I'm grabbing it all the time... The other structured ones are sitting in a shelving bin and I am just always opting to pull this one out, even for the smaller things. It's almost like you can make it any size you want if that's important because you just don't push the bottom out as far and get whatever size you really want. I haven't found size to be a problem as it drains a small amount as great as a large amount. It easily cleans with a sponge, soap and water. I haven't put mine in the dishwasher as nothing seems to stick to it and nothing justifies wasting the space since it is so easy to clean. Just find it easier to grab,store and wash than the others.

Finally the perfect colander for my small kitchen cabinet. Thank you to the seller for clarifying the size and offering a solution to my question. I delayed in sending a review of this product because I wanted to ensure it would work for me. Product works so well that I feel foolish for not trying it sooner. Additionally, reviews will be reviews, this product has exceeded expectations in every way -- very durable. Recommending to my sisters and other family members with motor homes/small kitchens; anyone that will listen!

When I first opened it up, I had my doubts, it looked small, but I gave it a chance and it holds a pound box of cooked pasta with no problem and space left to spare. Didn't have any issues with the boiling water and it held up to the dishwasher at least this first time through.

This is exactly what I needed for our camping trips. It's light, compact and very sturdy once open. I was happy to replace it with the heave metal one that we were taking before...it's so much more compact. I would definitely recommend to use at home, or like us, on our camping trips. Also love the color.

This colander is sturdy and I love that it folds up. It does get food caught near the bottom when I’m straining small things though.
