Muck Men's Arctic Sport Tall Boots

I normally take a 8.5 in almost every shoe. There are no half sizes offered, so I ordered up to the 9. It's a little big, maybe nothing a second pair of socks couldn't solve, but I think I would have been happier with an 8. That said, I've spent a couple of days in quite cold weather (0º today)working in them, and they are warm, comfortable. While the snow isn't deep yet, they seem completely water proof. I love that they are pull on rather than lace up so they never come untied--which would require taking gloves off. There's enough cushioning in them that driving in them feels strange--not quite sure how much pressure I'm putting on the brake sometimes. But they seem like a top quality boot that does the job. Just wish they offered half-sizes.

I have been doing some extra work grooming horses for the past few months. I have the Much Chore boots, which are great...keep my feet clean and dry, are pretty comfy for big boots, not too heavy, easy to put on and take off, and easy to clean with a rinse from the hose. But as it got colder, so did my feet. I tried to wear thicker socks, but then my toes felt stuffed in, and still too cold. These were my regular size 8, which fit fine with regular medium thick socks. I got these Arctic Sport pair, and they are so much warmer. They do all of the above, seem to be a bit lighter, and again keep my toes nice and toasty. I did order one size up to a 9, so I can wear a few layers of socks (silk liners, merino ankle socks, toe warmers, and really thick wool boot socks). So these are perfect in the cold, but I suggest going up a size if you want to wear thick socks. And the Chore boots will be perfect when it gets warmer.

I ordered these for a friend who outwalked her last pair. She normally wears an 8 1/2 shoe, and the size 9 was perfect for her. We drive horse carriages in Michigan, so we sit 4' in the air and don't move our feet much for about 3-4 hours on a busy night. You can't get much colder than that. She loves them and swears they keep her feet plenty warm with a mid-weight sock. She also wears these for barn chores and anything else she needs to do. She loves them.On a side note, if you have a wide calf, the top rim will feel like a rubber band around your calf. I have a 16 1/2" calf, and this entire line by Muck Boot fits snug on my calf. I wear leggings with them and throw snow pants overtop. I think a pair of jeans would be out of the question for me.These boots are really comfortable to wear and really don't require any breaking in. They don't feel like bricks on your feet and they're relatively attractive.I purchased the MuckBoots Arctic Ice boot since it was rated for even colder weather. I am always cold, my feet are constantly cold, and I'll be honest, my feet are NOT super warm in them. I switched to them from HUGE ice fishing boots that have a removable liner and pocket under the toe for toe warmers. I'm not sure I would be warm in any boot without the toe warmers. I did not feel that these are a miracle boot for sitting and doing nothing. However, when you move around/walk, they are really toasty!

I deliver things for a living. Let's just say I'm legally not allowed to tell you and endorse a product. It currently own these as of Jan 2024 and I bought these Oct 2017. I walk 12-17k steps a day. I only use these in the winter months when snow is on the ground here in Utah. I have one crack that developed last year, but still doesn't leak. I can stand in water even over the crack and no leaks. My feet stay warm even when walking through deep snow. They are a loose fit boot, but I feel that helps with breathablity. I wouldn't hike in these but I take constant 50 ft trips to the door and love them. Only complaint would be they are not very grippy on ice. I wear ice cleats though so problem solved. Definitely sticking with Muck boots for my next purchase.

I LOVE MuckBoots. I worked in shoe retail last year and they are a #1 seller for cold Maine winters for a reason. They are durable, rugged, extremely warm. We had a customer come in buying this Arctic Sport model that is warm to -40ºF and they were the only pair of boots he wore as he trekked across Alaska in the winter. They are completely water proof, the neoprene that the top is made out of is what scuba suits are made out of so it's built with quality, and warmth in mind.Since they come in whole sizes and it's always best to have at least a thumb's width between the tip of the boot and the tip of your toes, with socks on, I went with a size 7 even though I wear 6 1/2 in shoes. You'd think that since they come only whole sized, that a 6 would cover the 6/12 range but you want that extra room in any winter boot so that you can layer socks if you want to, but most importantly bc if your toe touches the end of a boot you will get cold a lot faster bc you need that extra room to let the air circulate the heat around your foot. Circulation of blood is also something that helps keep you warm too and it can't do that if your foot is constricted.I am so pleased that I went with the 7. The footbed is extremely comfortable and when I put them on I felt instant heat. If you want to make a good decision today, get these for winter. Invest in your feet, it's worth it. I love these boots!

I love that my feet stay warm all winter. I often have to get in and out of the car in the winter weather for work and my feet are always toasty warm. They are high enough that you can tuck your pants into them and not get them wet at the bottom. I love that they are rubber at the bottom so they keep my feet dry. Downside is they do not have a lot of support as they are flat on the bottom, so if you are walking a long time in them your feet hurt. I am not a frilly kind of girl and go with items that are practical so I love these boots, but that being said they are not an attractive kind of winter boot if your looking for style or cuteness. I have to shovel and snow blow the driveway and they are durable. I have worn them for a couple of years now and would buy another pair. I took off a star due to the lack of support.

Great fit, very warm and durable, this is my second pair. The first pair lasted forever and I wear them a lot. Great farm boots, winter horseback riding my feet stayed warm.

Sehr schöner und Qualitativ hochwertiger Gummistiefel. Sehr gut gefüttert und man bekommt hier nicht zu schnell kalte Füße. Leider ist bei meinen kräftigen Waden kleinwenig zu eng. Es wird oft geschrieben, das er kleiner ausfällt. Dem kann ich nur widersprechen . Ich trage gr. 38 und am Fuß war er perfekt mit ausreichen Platz und auch für dicker Strümpfe geeignet.

These boots are the most comfortable dog walking boots I've ever had! my feet are warm, able to move and supported at same time. I broke my foot badly and struggle to walk far but these have changed my experience... the cushion my foot well and give me room for thicker socks so theres no pressure on my feet but somehow they also feel supported. I tried a different style of muck boot but felt they were pressing on top of my foot so these were the best for me. After reading other reviews I was worried about them slipping on pavements but ive been fine! I do walks in grass, mud, puddles, pouring rain, and on slippery leaves and all has been fine. They're amazing in the mud really grip the ground. I can imagine on stones when slippery or slimy then maybe not so good but we cant have it all. And these are definitely keeping my feet warm but not sweaty. Wish all shoes felt like this. Will definitely buy again

Great boots, as described. definitely warm and bouncy insoles. Happy so far. Heavier than anticipated, so am getting a lighter and calf length pair for my mum (80) as these would be too heavy.
