I've only used one a short while and while they fit and work very well when starting out they seem dry. Once you get the ink flowing they work very well. For the price compared to Montblanc refills I can put up with a little less the the best. Overall, a great deal for the price!

I delayed my review in order to use the refills for a period of time. These are far superior to Mont Blanc OEM refills. They write much smoother than any other refill I’ve used. I highly recommend them.

Simply ... these replacement ink cartridges just WORK, period! No problems with their fit or ink leakage. They work magnificently! Will buy again!

Objectively, this refill deserves only 4 stars, but this is so much better than the Montblanc original refills, and that too at a much lower price, that I think 5 stars are justified. On my scale, I would give the Montblanc OEM refills a 2 on a scale of 1 to 5.This refill starts after a much smaller hesitation compared to the MB OEM refills. The ink flow is far superior, which makes it much nicer and easier to write with the pen, without having to apply a lot of pressure. One of two refills I tried had just a little bit of scratchiness at first, but it got better with use. Horizontal / vertical / angled lines are all of the same consistent thickness.For the most part, the ink delivery to paper is also consistent, but if you observe your writing closely, you can see areas where a microscopic amount of excess ink was deposited on the paper. That is the only mild negative so far. But it is not bad enough to make your writing look smudgy. See attached sample.What is yet unknown and only time will tell: how the refills hold up over time and as the weather changes, especially summer vs. winter. But so far, this refill is way ahead of the MB.

Please be aware the "soft roll" inks may be low viscosity, but they are still a paste ink. If you want a liquid type ink, you need to purchase the Monteverde gel inks. Several retailers describe the "soft roll" as a liquid ink and I wasted several hours of time and a few $$ before arriving at the truth- that it comes in many colors, but it is a paste ink. However, as others have noted, these refills are a bit shorter than the OEM. They still work, and are superior to the OEM, but have that minor fault.

Excellent product that is a great value for your buck!!

First, these are not “blue-black” they are blue. It is a bold tip, but it blots a lot. It’s not really a gel, it’s more like a ballpoint. Similar to the cristal BIC ball point. My hands hurts after writing with it for long periods. It fits perfectly in a montblanc. The montblanc refills are horrible. The price point is too high for these. I also have the medium point, which is better but feels scratchy at times.

Useful for pens still using rollerball.

Item was received very well packed when received and as described on Amazon. The item was delivered earlier than schedule and this is what I appreciate very much. I have tired one of the refills and it is working fine. Hope they last and I will purchase again from seller in the future.
