I used those screws for a electrical motor, which worked fine.The good part is that the head is a hex key, which allows to apply more pressure.Quality is great haven't had issue with the threats.

I use a lot of M3 parts for my projects, and I got this to have a "few of everything" for small projects that did not require big lots of any given part. My only issue with this kit is the packaging. A few of the machine screws and a LOT of the nuts got scrambled in shipping, and I had to dig the nuts out and find the misplaced screws. The washers come in a bag to prevent this from happening to them. At a minimum, the nuts should be in a bag, and ideally, everything should be. 5 stars with proper packaging.

Needed screws like this to mount sockets onto our test boards. The socket manufacturer barely sent enough of this length, and the other ones they sent were way too short. These screws are well made and are working great.FYI, metric screws are different than standard screws for pitch, with metric it's the spacing between two consecutive threads, for standard it's how many threads per inch.These screws are M2-0.4 x 25 which means 2mm diameter, 0.4mm thread pitch and 25mm long (measuring from end of screw to the bottom of the socket head cap where the threads end).The included tool key seems a little cheap and I'm not sure we''ll ever use it. We have better quality ones that we use as it's way too easy to round out these socket cap head screws when using cheap tools.

This kit comes with M3 x 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16mm length hex bolts. No nuts but you do get the allen wrench that fits them all. The quantity is 50pc per size which is fine. The price is ok but the organizer is the best organizer I have seen yet in these screw kits. It is compact and there are exactly 5 trays that are parts of the casting of the case. Some of these organizer are too big or have removable/configurable little pieces in the case. It has been my experience that screws can slider under these dividers and cause a mess. That won't happen with this kit, you can shake it up and they won't mix.I do like the compact size. I like that it has so many common sizes in the kit. (buy some 20mm length in bulk) The M3x8 is the one I used the most but I was running out of M3x16 when I ordered this. I decided that a kit wasn't much more than a bulk order of a single size and eventually I would need the other sizes for a project.

I used this to mount a monitor on its VESA holes on the back through thick materials, this works perfectly

Genuinely surprised by these bolts. They are immaculately made, very pleased!

Made from soft steel so dont expect to be able to super tighen these as you'll just round out the keyway. Great for what I wanted to use them for though (just screwing into plastic)
