Spanish Harlem: El Barrio in the '80s

A great book showing how the City used to be. A time before gentrification. A time when no one but true-yorkers lived and loved this City.

These photos evoke a particular era, and Mr. Rodriguez did a superb job portraying the people & the locale.

This was one book used as a set for a gift and the recipient was very happy with it.

Captivating photos but no captions. A bit of history or backstory would have made it more meaningful.

Beautiful book.
