It's just a recorder, nothing fancy. I thought you had to build it and that it would be a great learning tool but it just records your message and the light sensor only works at night in a dark room as it goes off with day light and movement so if you want to set it up then don't make the message too loud as it will be heard as you set it up. Waste of money to be honest, wouldn't recommend it unless all your child wants to do is record a short message.
