Previously I used an OtterBox which was great for durability but I worried about dropping the phone. Being waterproof and drop proof won't help me if I drop my phone off a ship, out a window, or off a cliff! If I'm somewhere precarious the wrist/neck strap ensures that my phone won't escape. I could also imagine using the lanyard while traveling if I'm using a e-ticket. The lanyard would make it easy to scan at the gate without having to juggle my phone while carrying luggage.Possible Cons:The lanyard attaches to a metal loop (good) but that metal loop is attached to the case with a woven strap. That part makes me a little nervous in terms of its long term durability/security.The space to hold money/cards seems tight/awkward. Perfect for emergency cash or "if lost call" info but it doesn't seem like it would be easy to use. That's fine with me since I didn't plan to use it regularly and I didn't want a bulky wallet attached to my phone.Pros:The aqua color is attractive. Not too bright, not too dull.The aqua material feels leathery and looks more expensive than it was.The black rubbery casing feels durable. It fit my iPhone 7 perfectly. Easy to attach and yet it doesn't feel like there is any risk of the phone slipping out. Cutouts around the camera and covers for the buttons are correctly aligned and work well.The black and white strap seems strong, similar to seat belt material, but yet it is soft to the touch (unlike seat belts!). It's attractive and thick enough to feel secure without being too bulky.The strap on the back has made it much more comfortable to text for longer periods. There's enough room to slide my fingers underneath without the strap being too bulky.In all, I would certainly recommend this case to others. I think it is strange that more companies have not started offering cases with a place to attach a lanyard or wrist strap.

Durable little phone case that doesn’t add much bulk to the phone at all.Features, likes and dislikes:I especially like the finger strap on the back, and I use it whenever I’m using my phone. And sometimes, when I’m not using my phone, I use it as a convenient handle to carry my phone across the backs of my fingers when my hands are full with grocery bags or something like that.The little pocket in back, for a card or cash, is a nice bonus; I have used it about 10-12 times when I want to leave the wallet at home. It’s a tight fit, though, you’ll only fit up to two cards OR a couple of folded dollar bills. It’s not a feature I use everyday, just a convenient bonus without adding much bulk.I don’t like the neck-lanyard that comes with the order, but I have a wrist strap from some other purchase years ago that I attach to the bottom loop instead. That metal bottom loop is another feature I use often, and I even clip my keys to it when I walk around the store without a purse.I can’t remember the number of times I’ve dropped my phone or sent it flying through the air because I wasn’t paying attention. Not a single scratch or evidence of damage anywhere on my phone, including the screen. So the bumper rim around the front edge does exactly what it is supposed to do, and sits tall enough to protect the screen. While the sides and back provides the cushion/impact resistance my phone needs.I bought this case in November 2019 (it’s September 2021, as I’m writing this), and I just noticed today that the stitching on the bottom edge of the finger strap is torn halfway through.As you can see from the photos, it’s seen heavy use during the 2 years I’ve had it.I figured I’d replace it now, before the strap tears off completely and I risk dropping the phone.I’m not complaining about having to replace a $15 phone case every two years!I looked around Amazon and still can’t find a phone case with a finger strap/handle that I like better; and a lot of the other brands have extra pockets, zippers, billfolds and bulkiness that I don’t want. So I’m ordering the same case again, right now.It’s worth the money, stands up to wear, and has the features I need, without any of the things I don’t like.Definitely 5 stars, and I don’t think I will ever find a case I like better! Hopefully it’s still on the market when I need to replace this 2nd one in a couple of years 😊
