Very high quality for the price
As someone who has used and loved Moleskine for years, I won’t say these compare in terms of material quality. However, I found that for every day needs I didn’t need to use a Moleskine. That being said, these notebooks are very high quality for their price. They are definitely worth stacking up on your shelf for your daily needs, and you don’t feel the pressure of needing something “worthy” of writing like you do a Moleskine or equivalent. There is no ink bleeding, though it’s hard to attribute that to the paper or the pen. They really do lay flat, no break in period required and surprisingly no spinal creasing. The other thing I like is that the cover grips your writing surface, almost like a soft rubber instead of a smooth leather that slides while you’re writing. If that was intentional then it’s a smart choice by the manufacturer. We will see what 10-20 years does to them when they are filled and shelved, but I bet they will hold up just fine. Save yourself some money and buy these, you won’t be disappointed.

Great value!
These journals are perfect for me. I use fountain pens, and I don’t get any bleed-through at all with the 120 gsm weight of the paper. It doesn’t bother me that there’s no pen holder; I just slip my pen under the elastic band at the top of the journal (see photo). I also like the pretty colors and the writing space between lines (which is slightly narrower than in many journals). The jury is still out on the binding. I haven’t had any problems, but I’m always cautious when flattening the book to write in it. I’ve lost pages or sections from lesser quality journals, and I don’t want that to happen with these. So far, so good!

After a year's worth of use, these will probably be a go-to for me in the future
I have been using these for a year now and I LOVE THEM. I was gifted a couple which I've filled up now, so this is me "ordering more of them" for what I've got coming up next. The paper is like...REALLY smooth. Like. Almost slick. I'm saying this as an artist who pays attention to the feel of paper. There's almost no tooth to it, BUT it's not so bad that pen "feels squirrely" on it, and pencil adheres NICELY. Erasing can still leave some pencil behind, so I wouldn't lean hard into accompanying words with too much "detailed art," but if you're writing in pencil and need to erase, it's good enough. Another thing I like is the hardiness of them, how they hold up after frequent use, and that they fit perfectly into my apron pocket. The spines are still holding up pretty well, even though I'm using "many bookmarks" including folded up papers in some of the pages. Literally the ONLY reason I'll get any other notebooks is for different purposes -art specific, larger size, different paper type, etc. As far as proper writing journals for the work I do, these feel GREAT. Like. There's something to them where I WANT TO write in them -and that's a very visceral response (for anyone who's looking for optics on "how that part feels."

Great book - ditch the plastic
Eliminate the PLASTIC! Each book is wrapped in plastic, but there is no need for them to be. Pain to get plastic unwrapped and the worst part is that it creates non-recyclable waste for no reason.Otherwise, the Books are great, high quality and good value.

Good
I sell journals with art and a word inside. These are the ones I’ve landed on after trying a lot. I like the colors and quality. They have a back pocket, elastic closure. I like the paper and size of lines

Thick paper with a toothy texture
I have some other books I've been writing in with my fountain pens that have a smooth surface to the paper, so it really stands out to me that this paper feels very toothy like a sketchbook. Just wanted to point that out since I noticed it.Also, I'm not seeing any bleed through with gel pens or juicy stub nib pens. You have to search for any ghosting. It's almost non-existent.

My favorite
I use these for a multitude of tasks. Primarily work, but the creep into other uses as well.Pages are thick enough to prevent the ink from bleeding through - even fountain pens.

Shipping
This is the best journal you can buy. But the delivery time for me is almost a month.
