AeroGarden Seed Starting System for Harvest 360 Models

I have never had luck in growing plants from seeds. I started the pods the beginning of February. I transplanted them just over a week ago (about 6wks after starting them). I had such great luck with the pods that came with the aerogarden that I took a chance and ordered the seedling tray. It came with pods but not the seeds. I had seeds - herbs, flowers and vegetables. With this one I was supposed to choose which type of plants I was growing. I choose the one with the most amount of time. Much to my surprise and shock in 5 days, I had basil, tomato and even Butterfly Weed plants that had emerged. I had read that Butterfly Weed is very hard to grow from seed. Read the instructions through before starting and you will be fine. They are very clear and easy. They also have a chat feature which was handy once I realized the mass of roots that had formed. They walked me through what to do.

I was looking to start more than 6 plants at a time and this has been helpful. It can get the pods wetter than they needed to be but allows for multiple starts at once

I like how quickly seeds germinate. I am able to plant a variety of seeds and pull them out individually when they've sprouted and pot them up. Much easier than soil trays.

The seed starter tray allows you to germinate 23 plants at a time in the AeroGarden Harvest. It takes only a few days for most seeds to germinate in this system. I started most of my vegetable plants this year in my AeroGarden and it worked remarkably well. Great product!

Safe to say my zucchini and spaghetti squash loved it. All 6 of my cherry tomatoes grew beautifully from seeds and transplanted successfully. The zucchini and squash safely transplanted into the garden at this size. Currently sprouting the little herbs that were hidden under the big leaves. This is a clean alternative to piles of dirt in my house.

Love this for germinating seeds for my outside garden!

Was very happy with the original system, so purchased this to start even more young plants for my summer garden. Not working very well so far.The system doe not feature the same water circulation as the original. The water is not poured over the pods like in the original. The water is more stagnant as a result, leading to more moldy seeds and algae than in the original system. The individual domes do not fit on the seed starting system as the domes are too large. They could provide one large dome to cover the whole pot, but this is not included either. I'm disappointed and maybe got 50% germination my first try. I started a new batch, and this time rigged a saran wrap cover for humidity, will update if this works.

I thought I was getting seeds and a plant holder with lights. I am disappointed because it was a gift item. It doesn't have seeds. I had to throw it away.
