Villeroy & BochArtesano Original Pasta Bowl, Premium Porcelain, White

This French Stick dish is part of an attractive range from Villeroy & Boch. There’s no fancy packaging (at least not when purchased from Amazon, just lots of bubble wrap) so it’s just as well the item itself is so attractive.Whilst the dish is generously sized, it isn’t long enough to contain a whole supermarket French stick; it’s more baton sized. I like to use it for slices of bread, rolls or nibbles out in the garden as the porcelain is a good thickness for every day (or outside) use. I’m often teaming it with the creamer holding home-made balsamic dressing and a couple of the dip bowls although I haven’t yet branched out into serving home-made bread.Everything is available individually so you can build your collection over a period of time and also replace the odd breakage along the way.This range lends itself very well to al-fresco dining and I am currently accumulating a few pieces with that in mind.

Lovely bowls for pasta, stews etc. Even my husband & kids (who don’t usually notice such things) commented that they’re nice.
