I was excited but...
I was excited opening The box to check if The chalk board was smooth or not ( i want to use chalks pens) and at The moment i touch it i feel good Because it was but then I turn it around and see a part of The blackboard is off and my happiness end right there... I want this as a gift and my gift it's suposse to leave tomorrow morning, now i will have to draw something on there and try to full fill the hole, it's a shame!

Easy to write on and Holds up well
Bought this almost a year ago along with some hot cocoa as a gift for a family member. It has been used a lot and has held up great, even with being washed in the dishwasher regularly. The black surface is smooth and easy to write on with chalk. Some reviewers said it didn't come with chalk, but the one I received came with 2 pieces of chalk.

Perfect teacher gift!
Buy it with a chalkboard pen (easier than chalk and erases beautifully) and give it as the perfect teacher's gifts (esp. with all the kiddos' names on it and a special message). Our teacher loved it!
