The Ulephone S1 Android Go Sim free/double Sim Mobile Phone has excellent connectivity with the Android 8.1 Go system to BT WiFi, and it works well with O2 network. It takes the smallest size of Sim card in a pull-out slot for easy insertion and removal. For ease of packing, the plug adapter has a retractable centre pin, and is fast charging - about 30 mins for a full charge and the large flat 3000mah battery gives a long standby and activity time.The 18:9 screen has excellent resolution and responds very well to the touch. The device has a good solid reliable feel, and has several locking options including Facial unlock. There is a choice of ringtones for the calls, and for the media notifications. The Apps are easy to install, and store with the 1GB RAM 8GB ROM, and the FM radio works very well with earphones (not included) and notification alerts from various sites and email are available.I chose Google Chrome, but there are additional browsers to install such as Opera. The dual rear cameras of 8 MP & 5 MP are also excellent and take beautifully clear colour pictures, and there is the option to view them in Black and White in the Gallery.Altogether this is an excellent phone and very good value for money.

Good for calls and text, works better than my crappy Samsung. It is maybe me but it does not show on your landing page if there are texts waiting to be read. Does everything else ok so I am happy. Fitted with a Sim-only deal it is as good as anybody's expensive phone. Has already lasted longer than my crappy Samsung which has let me down 3 times and now it is in the bin. I would buy again and can recommend it for clarity, ease, calls, text, facebook, search function and camera. What more do you need?? All phones should be as cheap as this one. Don

I'd just like to thank the seller of these beautiful smartphones 😁 I had searched the shops and soooooo many online phone deals and nearly gave up then fort of looking on AMAZON and I'm so glad I did I'd recommend this phone to everyone and anyone as it's in my eyes better than an iPhone and for one it does as much if not more than an iPhone there beautiful phones big screens and I bought two one for me and my wife and so glad I did. For anyone else who buys one there is just one little thing and that's where to put your sim card. When your phone arrives take off the back case take the battery out and your see a little gold film over battery point on battery make sure it's removed first then secondly if your looking at the sim card slot there's a little metle clip use your nail and slide it out to put sim card in. Reasonably good for the price. The phone has a problem which may be solely on my phone or a design fault. If you insert headphones which you then take out the headphone icon remains on with the result that the phone behaves as if the headphones are still inserted, which means you cannot hear the phone ringing when there is a call or if you ring someone else. By pressing the loudspeaker button you will be able to hear the phone ring, however switching the phone off and on resets it and icon disappears and the phone will work normally. Apart from this little quirk, pleased with the phone.

Priced at only £49.99, I got this for £42.50 on a Lightning Deal. I would not not describe this as a cheap phone with all the negative connotations this implies. I was very surprised by the S1. It looks quite good and is supplied with a good quality textured back cover. Android Oreo GO works well with this phone. Search, Netflix and Prime video, music and radio all ok. Sound is a pluspoint with reasonable quality and good volume. Battery life and charge time are ok and the battery is removable. It's 3G and has 8GB ROM storage, but there is SD card slot. This would be enough for many people. Oreo should allow the SD card to be used either data/files or as internal memory extension. Good choice if you just want a very low cost phone that does most things well, or a second or standby phone.A very good phone that belies its low price.

My son bought an Ulefone Note 7 from Amazon earlier this year and couldn't have been happier with it, so when my phone finally died I had no hesitation in choosing an Ulefone replacement. I definitely made the right choice, I've had my S1 nearly a week now ad so far I haven't found anything about it I don't like! The only thing that I wasn't too sure about was whether it only being 3G would make it a bit slow. I needn't have worried, it doesn't make any difference at all, it's just as smooth and fast as my old 4G phone and it has plenty of features, like the large screen, battery life, dual camera, etc, that make it as good as a much pricier phone. I can't recommend Ulephone highly enough.
