Great info, simply laid out for an easy read
As an aspiring writer but busy mom I have been looking for ways to find the "me" time I need to help balance myself and squeeze in time to focus on my goals with little distraction. This book offered wonderful tips and some insightful facts that I wasn't aware of. I really liked the author's approach and flow. Not only was it free on kindle but it was also a straightforward and quick read so I highly recommend it and commend the author on his inspiring yet logical methods of getting more out of our days. I've never been a morning person but I am really looking forward to joining "The 5 AM Club"!

Good tips for starting your day
I am on the track to improving my overall wellness. My research found a number of people recommending getting up earlier, with that in mind I decided to check out "The 5am Club". The book gave me some good tips to add to and use to adjust to my brew routine.

Waking Information
This book was an easy read and has some great information that will help you to get your day going at an early hour if you put these practices to use. There are a few spots in the book that has some grammar mistakes, but over all, this is a very interesting read...

Quick Read
This was a very quick read. This book was like a kind yet concerned uncle's patience running low waiting on a young adult to get it together. It had some pretty basic and standard advice and some tips you may not have thought of. Overall I feel like my time was not wasted reading this book.

Decent recommendations, no research to back them up.
I wanted to like this book. The info is okay and mostly common sense but the assumptions made and claims made throughout have no examples of studies to back up any of it. Example--"Everyone usually sleeps six or eight hours..." Really? Not anyone I know.In large sections, it reads like a freshman composition and there are spelling and grammatical issues throughout.

A great concept
After reading this book, I did not think I was going to be able to pull it off. Interesting enough, I set my mind to do it and did it. I've never felt more efficient than doing this simple exercise.

Short and pointed
This book is Short and to the point. It presents some good ideas that I will implement. If you are looking for the background and research references for the material, look elsewhere. This book gives a little what and how, which is what I wanted and expected.

Decent argument but might have problems
A lot of Lombardi's advice makes a lit of sense, discussing on prep the night before so you can fully utilise your early morning. The issue is the recommendation of going to sleep at 9pm to get the full 8 hours to wake up at 5 leaves you with not a great deal of time in the evening. If you get home from work at 6 and need to be kipping at 9, you've got three hours to eat your dinner, prep all your stuff for tomorrow, start getting ready for bed AND actually interact with other people and relax! It feels like you've got to be constantly on and that seems far too much and seems a way to burn out.

A good reminder
Reminds me of the benefits of waking up early. Short book but worth the read. I like the part about resilience and flexibility at the end of the book.

5 am: The right time to wakeup
It was great reading this book. I had inconsistent when it comes to waking up in the morning. But this book has given me many insights about waking up early in the morning. I will surely start practicing the tips suggested in this book and refer it time and again so that I continue waking up and organizing myself in a more systematic manner. Thanks to the author for writing this book.

Very good concept for a self help book but
But more research required. The length and conciseness is good and clearly the author is enthusiastic about the topic but a lot more quality content could be included. Eg who are some of the successful people in business politics, spiritual and civic life, philanthropy who follow this practice? Also, what do the medical or psychology and sleep journals say about this? Does the author also have personal experience doing this for a while? What about some of the challenges in the evening eg exhaustion, apathy, etc. Like any change model there's a process so more needed on How to work through each stage. There is one mention of getting up at 4 am. Is this better than 5 am? Does it impact circadian rhythms or REM? At what wake up time do diminishing returns set in?
