I typically purchase Biltmore sateen sheets from a major department store but when they didn’t have the right color or size or pocket depth for my new mattress I had to take a chance. So glad I did! Love these sheets! About to order a second set.

Very happy with these sheets. Fitted sheet was commercial quality with tight, strong fit. Top sheet always seemed a bit short. Not silky soft, if that's what you're looking for. Used nearly continuously for 2 1/2 years, washed weekly. Bottom sheet just wore through, so we're ordering a new set.

I was so excited to get these sheets! Right out of the box, the fabric was wonderful. They are a substantial thickness and buttery soft. I loved them! Unfortunately, when I tried the bottom sheet on my 13in. mattress I could NOT get it on. I tugged, pulled and re-adjusted until I was worn out, and finally gave up.The description says they will fit up to a 20 in mattress and couldn't be further from the truth. They will not.I am so disappointed that these wouldn't fit, so buyer beware.

It's impossible for me to tell if the thread count is really 1000, but the thread count must be on the high side, because these sheets are very thick and sturdy. They are moderately soft and well-made. The fitted sheet is generously sized; it fit a thick mattress as advertised. I washed the set only once so far, but it didn't show signs of falling apart. It doesn't have the high shine sateen look, but that's not important to me. I'm generally happy with the product I received. I've paid more for better-reviewed, lower-quality sets before, and I regret not finding this one earlier.Another reviewer said that their sheets had a different label from what they were expecting. For what it's worth, the label on mine says "Purity", and the was Indocount.This review concerns the specific product I received. I don't know if you'll get the same thing, because some listings are inconsistent. That said, I plan on buying one more set.
