I was very disappointed to learn that this wasn't a heavy iron piece but more of a lightweight plastic. The dragon's face looks jokey. I ordered a coaster set at the same time and didn't pay enough attention to see they were two different companies. The coasters came from DWK and the holder is a heavy iron and very detailed dragon. This pencil holder was a sad complement to the coasters.

I love this piece. The coloring is very nicely varied, and there's no 'seam' like it was manufactured or stamped. The ridges of the texture feel very cool when you hold it, and it's light enough to use for everyday use and heavy enough to feel like a decent art piece, (still granted pretty light). I would buy this again if I needed another holder.

The dragon is absolutely amazing. I got one from my husband to sit on my desk at home and I got this one for the office. There is enough room for a big bunch of pens. I love how the dragon looks and I would recommend this pen holder to anyone who is into dragons, like I am.
