Good battery with metal case for the BMW K1600’s GTL
The value for the money and battery life remains to be seen, but since my BMW battery for my K1600’s GTL died, literally 10 days after the 1 yr warranty expired, and that was a $200 battery! Anyway, I ordered this battery, and received an email that it wouldn’t be delivered for 1 -2 weeks, but it actually arrived in two days! This battery has the metal case on the lower half, and I had read that it would not fit my motorcycle, and it would not fit at first... I sanded off the plastic rails inside the battery box and slid it in, no problem. As long as this battery last a couple years, I’ll be happy. And, I didn’t need any adapters for the terminals, using the bolts supplied, it bolted right up, and started the bike faster than ever. If I ever have to remove this battery, it will be a struggle, but I’m happy with it right now.

Jell Battery
Better than any lead acid battery I've ever had in my motorcycle. After a couple of original type batteries, I installed a sidecar and went with a 850 cca car battery in the sidecar trunk which was less expensive than a bike battery and performed better. I took the sidecar off last month and needed another bike battery. The jell battery seems to heve more power due to less internal resisance. The bike starts after two revs or less. I think I made a good choice.

great when new
I bought this battery for my BMW K1200RS, upon installation in the motorcycle the bike fired up with some serious authority. It was great all year, but come next riding season it had issues with starting. Battery was on a tether but still needed a jump, once the bike was ridden for a few good miles battery was OK all season but has never been as strong to kick the motor over as it was when new. Fast forward exactly 2 years from purchase, battery won't take a charge no more- tether is good but battery just refuses to charge back up. I have contacted EnerSys the makers of Odyssey batteries to see if they will warranty my battery. Will update with the results, I'm 2 months past their 2 year warranty.

You've GOT the power
Use three of these in series to power my electric supercharger on my car and they have great power dump and fast recharge which is why I selected them over lessor conventional batterys. Also use one on my motorcycle and it has lasted twice the regular lifetime and is still strong. Note that if not charged correctly they WILL FAIL EARLY but that is not the batterys fault but is instead OPERATOR ERROR! Not cheap but you get what you paid for - quality and high power output.

6 maybe 7 months life
Well it was a great battery out of the box. One morning almost 7 months later - my k1600 wouldn't start. Jumped it and let it run to recharge. Next time - wouldn't start - even with the jump. If I leave a trickle charge on all night it does start in the AM. I can get 2 starts out of it, but have't pushed that and getting a new battery of course. Contacting the company is a circle. They even tried to tell me Amazon handles the warranty...

Read the Warranty - it says you are on your own
My Odyssey has died after 1 year and 5 months. It will not take a charge. So, no problem - right? After all it has a two year non-prorata warranty. Wrong. This is a materials and workmanship warranty. Basically, if it doesn't fall apart, it isn't covered. The manufacturer goes to great lengths to explain why the battery may have a shorter useful life, and thens says that if that life is less than 2 years - you are on your own. The fine print is a deliberate attempt to sell batteries claiming a 2 year warranty without actually offering anything near a two year warranty. If you read the fine print carefully, you could easily decide that there is effectively no warranty. They can always claim the battery came to the end of its life.Done with Odyssey.

Works for 2001 BMW R1100R
It was a bit of a tight fit with the extra frame around the battery, and I needed the L attachments.Definitely has more kick than previous batteries I've used, such as the BMW gel battery. It inspires confidence when my bike starts up so easily every time. The battery has held a charge pretty well throughout the Chicago riding season, even with very limited riding and no recharging. We'll have to see how well it recharges over the winter in my partially heated garage. All I ask is 3 years out of a battery.

Odyssey PC680MJ
This battery replaced a BMW gel cell battery that was not out but would drain down in just 5 days of non use. I replaced it with this battery and it will go 10 days with no trickle charge and still starts my bike with no problem.Had to shim under the battery a bit to get the bracket tight but other than that it was a direct replacement. This is a dry cell battery. It is 2 months old and we shall see how long it last. 2008 BMW K1200GT
