it's not a small amount like those Silly Putty eggs
I got this to play with at work to give my hands something to do and relieve some boredom. It is pleasant to play with and does make time go by a little faster. You definitely get enough of the stuff, it's not a small amount like those Silly Putty eggs. My only complaint, and reason for subtracting a star, is that occasionally tiny little pieces or "strands" will come off, or I'll find it under my fingernails after playing with it for a while. It also makes my palms feel sticky afterwards (they're not, they just feel like it when I open and close my hands). All in all I'd definitely recommend it; just be aware that if you're popping it or stretching it, you might lose tiny amounts here and there.

Great toy for keeping hands busy, but minds listening
I homeschool my 4 kids, of whom, 3 are boys. Keeping their attention when reading aloud has always been a challenge. One of my most wiggly sons could listen for over an hour if he had something to keep his hands busy. Each kid has their own tin of goo and we break it out during our read aloud session. One word of caution, this stuff will stick to fabric like crazy. If I am not vigilant on seeing them put it away, right away, it can be forgotten and left to puddle on the carpet, pillow, or other item in our reading room. It has only happened a couple of times, but I have lost a blanket and pillow to carelessness. The kids love it and I like it when they can pay attention with ease.:)I have since discovered that Rubbing Alcohol is the magic solution to remove this from fabric and carpets. ;)

There's silly putty, then there's EFFING SERIOUS PUTTY.
This stuff is awesome. It's like silly putty, but in a much higher quantity, and in way better colors. One downfall: it can be tough to get out of the container. I solved this issue by rolling it into a ball and putting it in the bottom half of the container, then turning it upside down so it stayed sealed on my desk and pulls right up when I get to work the next day.

It's a bit tougher than I expected. It's not something you can squish, you have to be careful when pulling it because if you use too much force it'll just snap off instead of pull. It's a good color, it doesn't leave any residue on your hands, I'd recommend it.

Awesome color
We are thinking putty lovers and collectors. My kids use them during story time and in church. This color is vivid and striking. We don't find it too hard to work with at all. As far as any resemblance to silly putty; while this is stretchy like silly putty, the colors of thinking putty make it more fun to look at and play with, and the large amount you get in a the great storage tin make them so much more fun than a little egg of pinkish beige putty.

SUPER hard puddy, builds muscles, eases tension
This "thinking" puddy was recommended to us by a friend. It's great. Comes in a cool assortment of colors, and is really stiff puddy meant for kids older than age 7 (in my opinion) or really, really strong kids or adults. That said, it does the trick. Playing with this increases hand strength, gets fingers awakened for handwriting and homework exercises. It's a fun way to do hand and finger exercises. We hid some small beads and marbles in the puddy and locating it has become another great exercise.

Love it!
It's great for my daughter (who has ataxia), great for my son (who has a sensory processing disorder) and great for the middle school girls with whom I am working that have been self-harming...gives them another option & they love it. Yes, this stuff is a lot tougher than silly putty, but it's better that way when used therapeutically. Keep buying different kinds to use at school.

I love playing with this
I love playing with this. It's a bit stiff and takes some muscle, but the color is stimulating and fun.
