Very Good 2X Magnifier
The magnifier is very good at improving the visibility of small print. It is good for seeing fine detail. The large size makes it easy to use for reading and is sharp across the entire face. The LED adds some light to make it easier to read and the battery is easy to replace. The handle is a little short and my finger will sometimes block the light, but this is a minor distraction. It is too large to carry outside the house, but is light enough (it is plastic) to use frequently and for a long period of time. The large size is a big plus for reading and also works well on small items like stamps. The higher-power circle works well for occasional use, but is small and not as effective as a dedicated high-power magnifier. This magnifier is a very good value with fine performance at a very reasonable price.

Nice, large magnifying glass
Nice, large magnifying glass. The built-in 6x bifocal lens is handy for extreme closeups, such as attempting to read the markings on antique silverware. The only quibble I have is that the handle is relatively small. The single LED bulb is in the base of the handle, and it feels like a nice ergonomic grip for the index finger. If I don't think about it, I wind up wrapping my finger over the light, which doesn't work too well if you need it to see. Other people have done the same thing, not realizing they are covering up the light. That said, it is very light weight, so it's still easy to hold after moving one's finger off the light.

Mighty Bright Lighted 5-Inch Round Magnifier
I ordered this magnifier 3 days ago & I just received it today, I'm very pleased with this item. The lens allows for a very wide area to be viewed easily & its crystal clear the entire 5" diameter no blurriness at all. The magnifier comes with one AAA battery which once you remove the plastic wrapping around it the LED light is bright & it increases your ability for use a home or office setting. It also has a small area 6X bifocal for that little extra area of help. This will greatly help me at work reading blueprints w/o causing eyestrain. I highly recommend this magnifier to any & all who are looking for a little extra help reading at a very reasonable price...Well worth the money.

Pretty good overall, but with poorly designed handle and minor annoyances. Satisfactory for most uses, but needs improvement.
Good but flawed. This is a pretty good magnifying glass, but it could be significantly better and it has one glaring problem: the handle is definitely too short to be held comfortably. This is such an obvious shortcoming that it is hard to imagine why it was designed this way--it couldn't have saved much money. The magnification rating seems a little optimistic to me for the main glass, and I do not think the small bifocal circle comes anywhere near the 6X that is claimed. The bifocal circle needs to be larger to be of much use. It is difficult to get into the battery compartment, particularly the first time. Be sure to notice that the battery is wrapped in clear plastic that must be removed before the light will work. I can imagine some situations where the built-in light could be handy, but it is not all that effective. I would have preferred them to skip the light and make the overall product better. It is frustrating that it is so difficult to find good products when looking for simple items like this. You have your choice of a lot of imported junk of questionable quality. In that context, this item looks better, although maybe a bit pricey, as it can at least be counted on to do a pretty good job. For what it's worth, I am keeping it, but it could and should have been made better.

LED Really big, hand-held magnifying glass
My eyes are getting very dim, even with trifocals. I haven't been able to read the small print on DVD jackets, for example. Now I can, with this super-duper, arthritis type of grip, hand-held magnifier with a very bright LED light that shines on the viewed area. There is a quarter-size area near the bottom, handle and light which is the 6X zoom on the lens for much stronger enlargement of very tiny print. The battery that comes with the magnifier needs to be taken out when it arrives new to remove the protective plastic that's covering the entire battery (keeping it from corroding). It's works just as named: "Mighty Bright"~

Dim!
Unfortunately I had to return this magnifying glass due to a very dim light.

Boy, do I love this. I am working on genealogy and reading the old documents from the National Archives in Washington DC was very difficult using just a regular magnifying glass and having to hold the document up to a light source for reading, i.e. window . This magnifier with the LED makes it so much more convenient and easier to read. I do go through a lot of batteries, though . I may be leaving the light on when not in use and need to be more careful about turning it off. A friend of mine saw mine and said that her mother could use one. I think everyone needs one.

Compare Fancii to Mighty Bright
I bought a Fancii, but the LEDs burned out after only 50 hours of use. Fancii sent me a replacement for free - good customer service - but unfortunately the replacement burned out too. So then I gave up and bought a Mighty Bright. I've run it for about 100 hours so far, and the LED is still bright. Unfortunately the Mighty Bright lens distortion and form factor (weight balance, grip) is much worse than Fancii. Really, these two products should get married and produce offspring. If you had a magnifier with the lens and handle of the Fancii, and the light of the Mighty Bright, then you might actually have a decent lighted magnifying lens. Both magnifiers are huge battery hogs; they need rechargeable batteries to be at all practical. Fancii uses three AAA, Mighty Bright uses one AAA. Based on my experience I would estimate that each magnifier loses half of its illumination, and hence needs a battery charge, at around 25 hours.
