For the price point these are above average knives. I cook all the time and these are not personally sharp enough for me but they are better than most for sure. I love the steak knives. I bought them for my mom and they are perfect for the average at home cook. Great starter knives. If you are looking for the next stage of knives you aren’t going to get them cheaply but for the average cook these are great.

So far so good. Knives are one piece forged, which means the handles won't fall off in a few months or years like with other sets. That's the specific reason I got this set. I like the idea of the stand over the traditional block, but in person it does look and feel a bit cheap due to light weight acrylic construction and narrow base. But the advantage is that there's nowhere for bacteria and mold to hide. I think it's a much more sanitary way of storing the knives, but would have liked to see one made of glass or even acrylic but with a weighted metal base. But I guess at this price point, a slightly top heavy stand is a small compromise. I like this kitchen knife set quite a lot. The most important point is the rack is clear and see through. The older models with wooden racks are very hard to clean and you can't check if the interior is clean or not. With this new one, it's much easier to see. I would recommend it to my friends.

This is an intimidating knife set. People walk in my kitchen and go woah. I am by no means a professional chef, but my knives look the part. I love the see through silicone because I don't have to play the guessing game on which knife I'm pulling out, and I don't have to worry if it's moldy or nasty in there. Blade quality if very very good, almost too good, as my aunt already cut herself with one (but hey, clean cut). I have not had to use the sharpener but it's there if I did. Although it states not to use in the dishwasher, I can't get my husband to hand wash to save his life and so they've seen a few trips in the washer - so far no issue (It's been over a month). I also like that's it's one piece so that the handles aren't going to break off, and I've had no issue with slipping or sliding so thumbs up for ergonomic! It took me a long time to decide on a knife set, as I wanted a good one, but also knew my requirements didn't necessitate dishing out hundreds of dollars on a professional set. This, was perfect. I feel like they are sharp enough to get any job done easily and they were a great price (bought during cyber monday). 10/10 would recommend.

This knife set is GORGEOUS, I adore the acrylic block, the knives are extremely sharp, heavy quality material. And it came with 11 knives which is amazing for $40. Love that it also includes a sharpener and scissors. So happy with this set

I loved this when I first bought it back at the end of January 2021. It’s compact, aesthetically pleasing and very sturdy! It has all the things needed to make a good knife set good.So why did I rate a 1 star?:I rated a 1 star because it is already rusting. The scissors were the first to rust at its connector and the knives are starting to get rust spots on them as well. I have tried scrubbing it off, but the mark has been made. So I wish I could say this was a good set but unfortunately it doesn’t make the cut. (No pun intended)Now I have to find a new set, so we aren’t eating and cooking with rust covered utensils.

This knife set and stand look really nice in my kitchen. I like the stainless look a lot and goes with my stainless appliances. Be sure to dry/wipe off the knives after cleaning so you don't get water spots. The stand doesn't take up a lot fo space on my counter either which is good. I haven't used every knife yet, but so far the ones I have-they've been plenty sharp for the task. I threw away almost all the other cheap (dollar store/garage sale) knives I've accumulated over the years. I recommend this purchase.
