Large sturdy statue of very pretty, young, Caucasian woman partially draped, but essentially nude.Viewed one way to emphasize the breasts; viewed the other way, the buttocks.All around great statue.What to do with her now is our dilemma.Thinking of installing a large niche especially for her display.**The really funny thing about this statue is that my husband has a photograph of himself in front of a similar life-size statue in a museum in Europe from ten years ago. I purchased this for hubby as a gift as he really appreciates women’s buttocks (I promise not in a lewd way), having no conscious knowledge of the photograph. It was a funny coincidence when hubby broke out the photograph! LOL

This is the gallery size , so i cant speak for the grande , but this is in my own opinion a gorgeous centerpiece , it will function beautifully as an addition to your collection but would be equally jaw dropping as a stand alone , the display image is misleading , the light used , the angles , the over all lack of aesthetic makes the potential buyer feel like he or she is getting a cheap middle aged woman battling weight issues attempting to see if shes still got that magic touch when she exposes her back side desperately seeking approval , in truth , this is rather good , inexpensive replica and a classic piece of art , its saod to have actually been a part of Emperor Nero's collection of risqué scultures and while that may not necesessairy be true , the original sculpture has a history much older that you would have imagined , when it does arrive , youll notice this was way better than what you thought you were getting , i would reccomemd to anyone who appreciates fine Greco-Roman art

A very nice representation of the original. We have this on a column base in our Hellenic bathroom in our home. A perfect example of beauty and innocense and a time not forgotten.

This is much nicer than expected. She in the bathroom so I look at her great butt and not my fat ugly one .

I purchased this statue for the vanity in our master bath. My wife and I just love looking at Venus checking out her posterior in our mirror.

This is a lovely statue. My son wanted it for his garden, so I gave it to him. How can you say no to your son. It's beautiful in his garden.
