I needed a cheap punch-down tool and this worked great for the job

BETTER THAN OTHERS!! One solid piece
Please get this, I used to get the other ones where the blades are interchangeable but sometimes those blades would fall off and then you have a loose blade and a piece of plastic. These are one solid piece and it's the best.

They will cut
Couldn't decide on 3 vs 4 stars. The first several cuts I made, the inner conductors were getting nicked ever so slightly. To me, that is unacceptable. I broke my 20-yr-old similar model from Jensen last year and this is what I chose to replace it with. The 110 punch feature is a bonus, and it was nice to have a quick-grab punch for single-wire fixes on CAT6 keystone jack mis-terminations. The first recess is the only one I've used, and that's been with superior essex series 77 CAT6 riser cable.

Does not work for CAT6A Cable Matters Brand
This does not work for CAT6A shielded, Cable Matters Brand wire. The largest setting was still far too small, and easily cut through the shielding foil every time. I attempted to modify to see if I could get it to work, and still found the foil cut too easily. Maybe on non-shielded cable it would work great, but the description says STP.
