I purchased this so I would have something to keep the grands all entertained for an evening. What a fabulous acquisition! We all sat together at the dining room table and created colorful sand pictures, and even our teenaged boy (whom my husband was certain wouldn’t appreciate it) admitted he was having “a lot of fun”. There is enough sand in a good variety of colors, and the different images included offered something that appealed to each out of the six of us (yes, this old lady had to do one too) and we a ball, each and every one of us! This was one of the best playthings I’ve ever purchased, and the price is outstanding. One word of caution though, if you have young children…they will need assistance with revealing some areas because it can be mildly challenging to reveal just the spaces you want to cover with sand. And of course, playing with sand can be pretty messy, so you’ll want to lay down plenty of newspaper or something to make cleanup easier.

Lots and Lots of sand art to be done with this kit. 10 bottles of all shapes and sizes and the colors of the sand are beautiful. The box is heavy so be aware of that when it ships, but everything is packaged well so there is no leakage of sand. It arrived quickly too. This might be a good idea for a kids party. This was the perfect activity for my son’s 1st birthday party! We have a lot of nieces and nephews and friends kids that were at the party and they all loved making this sand art. The colors were super nice and all of the designs were really cute. The kids were entertained and they were so excited with how their creations came out.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter who loves crafts and for her 10 year old cousins to do when they come over. The kids really enjoyed making their own sand art! For $20, you get 10 multi sized plastic bottles in cute shapes like flower, dolphin, zebra, and a few small ones that can be used as necklaces with the included strings. You also get different colored sand bags, a small glitter packet, a rod that you can make designs in the sand with. The set is awesome for multiple kids to use, even for a birthday party. However, you only get ONE funnel to pour the sand in with, which is not good if you have multiple kids using the set at the same time. They should include at least 2 funnels because if multiple kids are using it at once, then they each have to wait for the person using the funnel to finish their entire sand art before they can get a turn. You do get two bags of a few of the colors like pink and yellow, but I wish they included two of each color. The bags the sand are in are very thin and cheap - two of ours, the purple and the yellow both had a hole in them and sand went everywhere when we unboxed the set. Overall, this set is a great value for the money and lots of fun!

Such a fun craft for kids! We used these at a birthday party as party favors and all the kids really enjoyed them.

Perfect gift for one child or a few children to share. One kit makes multiple sand art items to save and put on display! Children under 6 might need assistance.

This was a big hit with my 7 and 8 yr olds. They had such a fun time making these sand bottles. There was many sculptures and lots of sand to go around.. with some left over. Very much worth every penny.
