Nice flush cutters
This is my second pair. I still have the first pair but they are getting well worn. I was glad I could find the same pair since I have had my others for quite a few years. Easy to hold, cut quick and clean and you can sharpen them if needed without any damage to the pliers.

Safety wire
Retired maintenance employee, these were used in many situations, mostly cutting safety wire, Zip-ties and copper wire for close surface clearance.

Use them as designed, they are not diagonals
I have been using Xuron flush cutters for over 20 years. I have never had a problem with the blades unless i abused the tool. I have forgotten and cut a wire that has power on it, accidentally cut steel wire, or loaned then to someone who thought they were dikes, etc.I worked in the cellular industry starting in 1997 when the first analog Mobile Cellular Car Phones, not handhelds, came out. I found out about them from the tower crews that installed our antennas. They used them to cut the huge copper center conductor in all types of large coax cable. All of us used them after the tower crews showed them to us, and I have never had a problem with any of the many sets I have owned. You can even trim your toenails, or your dogs toenails with them!I am retired, but I still keep an extra pair around in case I stupidly cut a wire with power on it. Anyone who has problems with them, abused them.

Nice piece of the Xuron collection
Update: These have been my go-to cutters since I bought them more than two years ago. I've been cutting 16- and 14-gauge copper. Now the cut isn't flush. An deeply ingrained line runs across the top of the cut and cuts into the sides of wire, making filing the ends difficult. I tried filing the blades, but no change. Are these gauges too thick to preserve the cutter's blades? What should I buy to cut heavy gauges including 12?Okay, I haven't figured out which side is flush. The only cutters that leave flush surfaces on both ends of a cut are Xuron double-flush. But these full-flush cutters are excellent for the money, precise, sharp, good spring action, and ergonomic. They get plenty of use and fit in spaces the double-flush cutters won't. The double-flush cutters have short jaws and can't cut close to, say, the end of a ruler. A few Xuron cutters and you're covered for almost every cutting need -- including making Egyptian coil bracelet after Egyptian coil bracelet until I get it right.

Some time ago, I purchased the Xuron split ring tool and absolutely love it! I've gone through two pairs of cutters (other brands) and wasn't satisfied with the performance of either. When looking for a new pair, I specifically looked for Xuron because I am so pleased with their split ring tool. I am very pleased with my decision! This is a very sturdy pair of cutters and they perform perfectly! I make and sell jewelry online and will always turn to Xuron when replacing my tools. On another note: My daughter, who also makes jewelry was always sneaking off with my Xuron split ring tool and I had to continually retrieve them from her room. I bought a second pair for her Christmas stocking. She was thrilled and so am I! My split ring tool is now always just where I left it!

Comfortable handles.
I like the handles and weight of the tool. The jaws didn’t line up as precisely as I would like but it will get the job done. The jaws open wide. If you are looking for a more durable tool you may have to spend a bit more but for the price this is not bad.

Xuron wire Snips aka-mini wire dykes
I have owned these for well over 10 years and mine are still just as sharp and just as good as the day I bought them, not even the rubber handles have slipped. I would find it difficult to believe in any other product but Xuron. I can NOT count the miles of copper wire I've cut with these. I just bought three more pairs...one for work, one for a friend and one to have just as a back up when my original pair finally become dull ...LOL --(If it happens) ...I'm serious, 10 years of cutting copper wire and my old pair still cuts like they day I bought them, not sure they will ever dull. Xuron is surely a brand you can trust...kinda like the Craftsmen tools (use to be) --Trustworthy. So Remember Mine are 10 yrs old...Has Xuron changed anything? Not sure, are they as good as they once were ten years ago? Not sure. But I'll take that chance because I trust Xuron quality.
