This shackle is a work of art. The block is perfectly machined, the finish is perfect, the wording is engraved, etc. It just feels like an extremely well built piece. Agency 6's reputation is well earned.

I was in the market to replace my old, heavy steel towing hitch which was rusting out and it became a choice between a "never-rust" hitch and this Agency 6 one. So I chose the Agency 6 hitch because of the aluminum construction, blue powder coating (which also matches my truck), and the 13,000 lb workload rating. Not only was the item delivered to my home in Hawaii exactly 2-days after I ordered it, I was stunned by the absolute quality of the machining, powder-coating and white (workload rating) lettering which is etched conspicuously onto the hitch. The hitch is machined and finished perfectly, without blemish or machined markings and the powder coating is flawless. The 9500 lb. working load shackle is painted gloss black and is also flawless, nicely complementing the superb hitch. It's almost too nice to put on my old diesel!The bottom line is, "If you are in need of a nicely machined, show-car quality aluminum hitch that won't rust, look no further. Just buy this one and you will not be disappointed!"

Was looking at these for a long time finally pulled the trigger. Gets used much more than I would have anticipated and works great, looks even better.

Overall happy with the purchase, thought it was a pricey but I knew the price before I bought. I wanted the weight of aluminum even though the D hook is steal and heavy. Have not used for recovery yet but should work fine.
