Great cut
Works well with the saw I bought. The cuts are straight and true. Wish I would’ve bought one sooner. Would buy again

Must have
The Kreg guide track, along with the Kreg plunge cut saw are the perfect combination for cutting my new oak stair treads and risers. If you need a factory edge, with or without a bevel, these are the tool to buy! Even I am surprised how well the project is progressing!

Only for the Kreg track saw.
Fits the plunge saw perfectly!

It works great
So it works great. Straight cuts, light weight, easy to place the track saw, etc.. My only problem is that you have to purchase this exact track two times if you want longer cuts. They don't have a shorter extension so have 10+ ft of continous cut is overboard. You also have to purchase the guides for the tracks separately. My last issue was trying to find a way to transport them. I looked everywhere for a long enough rail case, but was only able to find 1 option for a much longer bag that only fits one rail. I am going to purchase a snowboarding bag as it seems a better option.

Kreg Track Ends NOT SQUARE! Huge missed opportunity...
TLDR; Don't think you're going to get a straight edge with this unless you have a friend with a machine shop. This is dumb. A "no-Brainer". If I was the Kreg CEO I would be seriously chewing some quality engineers out. I bought the second piece of track to connect with the section that came with my ACS to rip full sheets down (obviously). I was really disappointed to find that BOTH tracks were about 10 thou out of square on BOTH ends. 20 thou out combined when connected.. Rather than the track itself being the bible of straight- as it SHOULD BE. I had to make it straight with a straight edge. Because then the tracks then only touch at one point, this straightness doesn't last past one move of the track. What a pain and a joke. I was pissed. This is step one! Get a straight edge. How hard is it to make sure that your track production and quality line releases tracks with a dead square end?! (I'm in manufacturing. It's not hard) My buddy up the road has a machine shop in his garage, so I brought it to him to square up the ends for me. He did it for me and checked them on his granite table with his granite square. Better than it needed to be- but dead square. After squaring the ends and putting the tracks back together it was PERFECT. I stopped checking with my straight edge after a while because even though I was moving it around a lot, it had the full support of the reference edge and the clamping of the connectors- which are good, so it didn't move. Look, the ACS system is a really good value for the money. I have used the table a lot. It is sturdy and easy to set up and break down. I use the stops and the dogs to make repeat cross cuts and it's great for that. I just don't see how Kreg could drop the ball on these tracks so badly. It is truly a missed opportunity. Kreg- If you are listening- you could eat Ef-Stool's lunch if you did two things: STEP 1- and I cannot emphasize this enough- MAKE SURE YOUR DARN TRACK ENDS ARE DEAD SQUARE!!! Step 2- Include a second track section and connectors with the ACS- or at least make it an option. I'm not saying not to charge for the tracks and connectors. What I am saying is that your system is good. Your saw is good. All it has to do is make one straight long cut, then a bunch of shorter square cuts and it will be as good as anything else out there and your prices are right. Heck- I'd have been happy to pay $25 more to know that the track ends are square. It still would be a tremendous value.

I assumed that Kreg's table and track would be able to interoperate with other brands of track saw since many of the common brands can interoperate with each other, and also because I don't see Kreg as being a major competitor in the saw department, I feel like their main offering here is to fill the table niche for someone who doesn't want to go for a more-expensive Festool table. Beware, most track saws (Festool, Makita, Bosch) have 120mm between the blade and the edge of the ridge that sticks up off the track. The Kreg track has 100mm, so when I tried to mount my saw on this thing, it overhung the rubber edge by 2cm. Kreg clearly wants people to buy in to this whole ACS thing as a "system" and engineers it specifically with incompatibility in mind. Apart from the 100mm thing, there's also the uncommon track length here, so it's hard to find another track which is appropriate for the ACS table. I recommend the Makita 75" track as an alternative if you want to use the ACS table with a different brand of saw.
