Mother 1 + 2 Original Soundtrack

My daughter asked for this for her birthday. She absolutely loves the music and listens to it while she studies.

The Music is phenomenal!! If you are a fan of the Mother series, you will like this for sure

Inspiration

This CD has just about all of the best, or at least most memorable, songs from the first two Mother games. They are not simple rips of the 8bit and 16bit music that was in the game, but each one has been really accurately and thoughtfully remixed. I'm not sure if any of these tracks are the versions used in the Super Smash Bros. games. However, they are on the same level of quality, orchestral renditions of classic video game pieces that Super Smash Bros. is famous for doing to their tracks. If you're a fan of the Mother series, this little CD will be an overload of nostalgia, at least it was for me!I would still pick up the standalone Mother 1 CD to get the beautifully sung Eight Melodies by Catherine Warwick because those versions are not on this CD.

Music is great . . . will not regret spending the money to purchase. Certainly would recommend this CD to others.

A great soundtrack for two great games.

Note that this is a reorchestration, not the original soundtrack. I can't speak for the Mother 1 themes, since I haven't played it, but they really hit the Mother 2 (Earthbound) themes out of the park. The Runaway 5 music is particularly good, and seques perfectly into the Fourside city theme.

This is a fantastic product. It includes remixes of popular songs from both games. Its great if you're a collector. Warning of caution, these are not the songs from the game, just remixes, nothing else. Also, the cover art in the image that amazon shows is incorrect. It's just red with the words "Mother 1 + 2" on it. Also, the tiles of the songs that are remixes from Mother 2 are all in Japanese characters, so it can get confusing if you don't know Japanese. Overall, this is a fantastic collection, and it's totally worth the money if your a huge fan of Earthbound or the Mother series in general.P.S. It includes a pretty jamin remix of the Onett theme!

テレビ番組のBGMで聴いて、無性に聴きたくなり購入。ほんとに懐かしい。パソコン作業のお供に最高です。

the paradise lineと書かれたメロディは、本当はALL THAT I NEEDED (WAS YOU)の間違いです。でも好きです。

オリジナルとありますが巷で言うOSTではなくアレンジ版のASTですね

MOTHER2にハマり、あの音楽に浸りたくこちらを購入しました。車の中で毎日流し曲が切り替わる毎に「これはファーサイドだった！」「おぉートンズラブラザーズ」などなど思い出しては幸せな気持ちになっています。車の運転が楽しくなりました。買ってよかったです。

バラエティー番組で使われていて、ふと聴きたくなり購入しました。ゲームをしていて感じた気持ちや印象に残った場面を思い出し、とても良かったです。
