Not Neutrik Connectors !
I picked this cable because it was promoted as being "Belden/CBI 20 gauge instrument wire" (most guitar cables are only 24 AWG) and because it was fitted with "Neutrik Nickel 1/4” Connectors". Belden is a world famous cable manufacturer. However their name does not appear anywhere on the cable I received, so I am not sure that they had anything to do with it's manufacturing. Neutrik is regarded as one of the best connectors money can buy. The cable I received did not come fitted with Neutrik connectors. In fact, the right angle connector is one half plastic! Plastic is not a good shield against interference. It is one thing that they didn't use Neutrik connectors, but it is another thing all together to use cheap Chinese connectors that aren't up to the task. That offends me. There are lots of cheap connectors that imitate the design of Neutrik and Switchcraft that are at least made out of metal and serve the same purpose at a substantial cost savings. But for CBI to use a cheap plastic substitute after hailing their use of Neutrik quality connectors, that is unacceptable. I was in a bind and needed this cable for a gig the night it arrived, so I cut off the connectors and soldered on some Switchcraft connectors that I had on hand. I looked them up on Amazon and the Switchcraft connectors sell for $3.99 each, so my $17 CBI cable actually cost me $25.

Guitar Cable For Home Use.
I play at home sitting on my couch. My last cable lasted 10 years before it failed. This is from the same people that made my last one. I figure 10 years of working is good enough for me. This cable is perfect for my needs.

great cable, like the right angle for the amp connection
I could never get just the right cable, I now I have it with this one. I like an angled cable to plug into the amp so it won't be bent all of the time. I like to leave my cable plugged in, draped over the amp when not in use too.I also prefer a straight connection to any guitar, especially my Stratocasters because the angles ones scratch the finish and just don't lay right.I tried another one like this but it was so cheap that I got feedback and scratchy sounds from the amp when using it.... it went right in the trash. This cable sounds clean, surprising because it isn't that thick either. I like this 12 footer so much I have an 18 footer on the way. If I ever play in a band, a longer cable would be better so you don't have to be right on top of the amp. I may look for this in an even longer length too, we'll see.If doubt the quality, don't. I'm playing Gibson's and American Fender's through a nice Marshall amp and it sounds stage worthy, too bad I don't though.... oh well, we will keep working on it.

Replaced within a week
I purchased this cable for use in a non - stress position, connecting a stage keyboard to a direct box. The cable bore no weight and did not hang, rather was very careful run as art of a defined setup that was never changed from stage to stage. The cable was noisy, and did not feel like quality. After three consecutive dates using the cable, I removed it from service,, replaced it with a spectra flex cable. Noise was eliminated - no him, no crackle. I felt like I was using some old radio shack cable from the 80s where I had to make sure not to move it or I'd run the risk of static in the PA. guess you get what you pay for, in this case, I've been using the spectra flex for nine months - three days a week, with no trouble - and removed the remaining CBI cables from the stage. Not worth the risk.

Your basic workhorse cables. Not pretty, but they are built well.
These CBI cables will probably outlive me. The materials used are more than sufficient to stand up to continuous use and abuse. I've tried the high-end variety of 1/4" cables on my gigging bass system, and honestly cannot see the point of paying premium prices for dubious premium characteristics. The fact that I can repair broken solder joints in the plugs helps keep these cables working when I need them. They coil easily, they are quiet when moved, and they keep stray RF electrical noise out. That's what I need, and that's what I get.

Electronic Cable Connection
Cable with right angle plug was what was pictured and described. Delivery was prompt and on time as scheduled. I feel this cable is a fair price. I wish it was designed with a mechanical shock absorb device on the cable it self. I liked and would recommend to a friend. rd

Quality
Was shorter than I thought, had to prop up my effects pedal with a Crayon box so it wasn't dangling. This is a very professional, well-made, quality item; super thick, heavy duty cord. Just make sure you pick a longer version, 1 Foot is too short.
