TascamTH-07 High Definition Studio Monitor Headphones , Black

The overall quality of the materials is great, the size is generous, the fit is comfortable, and I love how you can adjust the way the phones sit on your ears (flip, rotate, etc.). The sound quality is beautiful, crisp and clear. They are not noise canceling though, so if you are in a noisy environment you might get distracted. Overall, I would buy again and highly recommend.

OK, first I want to note this is an unfair review, as I am comparing this headphone to equipment much more expensive than this headphone. The two units I have to compare are AKG K712 Pro and a very old Stax unit. I was a bit surprised that these phones stood up as well in this comparison. I just got these headphones, so this is initial reaction from several hours of listening. I started with Camille Saint-Saëns Symphony #3 in C minor. This organ work shows the weakness of the K712. The TH-07 renders the deep pedal notes more accurately and with greater power. Next I will go to Lisa Hilton and jazz piano on her version of Skylark. The K712s are much more revealing on the piano. The same can be said for massed violins in symphonic works. The TH-07 are great bon male vocals, I listened to Shannon Lawson and Scotty McCreery, both excellent. Next I went to Suzy Bogguss and listened to some songs on her Swing album. These gave a good performance. Then I went to Sarah Stivers vocal jazz and was a little less impressed. These were outstanding on blues tunes by Jay White and The Blues Commanders! These really captured the kettle drum fight in Carl Nielsen's 4th Symphony. Unfortunately i was not as impressed with the closing strings and woodwinds, the detail seemed to smear just a little. The old Stax phones are fantastic on strings and upper register piano, terrible on pipe organ.Now to comfort. These really are pretty comfortable. They are not as comfortable as the K712s, not even close, but I wasn't complaining after about 3 hours of straight listening. I have owned a number of closed back headphones in the past, and those were both heavier and more uncomfortable and fatiguing than these.These seemed to be pretty well built, even though mostly plastic. They seem durable enough.I drive these with a XtremPro desktop amplifier. The amp drove them effortlessly.Will these replace the AKG K712s in most of my listening, no! But when my wife runs the vacuum, these shut out the background noise. When i want to listen to organ music, these are great while the AKGs are not so great. For less than 25% of what the AKGs cost, these are credible competitors.These are NOT going to appeal to the guys that want driving kick drum and thudding bass! The bass is a bit strong compared to the highest register, but it isn't BOOMY! These are pretty flat with a gentle downslope through the lower treble. I sense they roll off rapidly above 12,000 hertz, which you will notice on brass and strings and piano.A really good headphone for a surprisingly low price!Update, These really sound great with a bit of equalization! I bring down the mid and upper bass as well as the 8khz peak and add a bit in the midrange and above 12khz. This brings vocals a little forward and takes out the bass bloom, which slightly congests the midrange without EQ. These handle EQ excellently!

Having worked in broadcasting my whole life I can safely say that these are the best headphones I've ever owned. Excellent build and sound quality.These headphones exceeded my expectations.

I use these primarily for editing/recording videos. The sound is crisp. Great for the price!!

Sounds very good and fits very well. Good quality and will try to buy a second pair. Shipping is very fast!

I can tell the overhead piece is not reinforced with metal (only plastic) thus will fail eventually like my last pair of tascam headphones. I made a mistake on this one.

These were $75 and made in Taiwan as other Tascam products I have. I use them for studio recording.I’ve found Taiwan and Japan make products well as opposed to China. These are the 50mm which hold up well to bass as opposed to the AudioTechnica that I have that are 45mm which are made in China. I’d buy these Tascam headphones again. It comes with 2 cords & carrying case. I wore them all day for a few days with no problemsThese are great for lower end headphones.

Really enjoy these. It comes with two sets of cords. The headphones fit over entire ear. Makes me spoiled when I use others.

Son los mejores audifonos que he probado, ya habia trabajado antes con la marca con un modelo mas economico y no me decepcionaron, cuando decidi aumentar de gama no dude en adquirir un modelo mas pro de la marca y no me arrepiento no tienen nada que pedirle a unos Audiotechnica de la misma gama, obvio.

Os três itens acima : qualidade, conforto, custo- benefício (pela qualidade que oferece...ele não é barato) definem bem esse fone de ouvido. Quando nos acostumamos com sua sonoridade podemos notar como ele é bom, de referência mesmo! Minhas únicas queixas quanto à esse produto não se referem à ele especificamente , mas a empresa Tascam que não informa e nem responde à nenhuma informação sobre questionamentos que tive sobre ele : curva de correção de resposta de frequência, compatibilidade com plugins de simulação de estúdios...nesse último quesito, ele não consta de nenhuma relação em todos os plugins que pesquisei, o que é muito ruim ,pois parece que ninguém no mercado de desenvolvedores o conhece... Mas essa questões não são demérito à ele pois a qualidade sonora é fantástica!! Pena que a Tascam ,ao que parece não , não esteja preocupada com o suporte dos clientes...tirando isso vale muito à pena!!

He usado muy poco estos audífonos, apenas está semana desde que los compré y ya se rompieron, el auricular derecho se separó y el cable está roto. Lamentablemente ya pasó el tiempo para devoluciones o cambios. No recomiendo que lo compren.
