Praxis II Elementary Education Multiple Subjects 5001 Study Guide 2019-2020: Test Prep with Practice Test Questions

I used this study guide (5001) to review for the 7811 content knowledge series of Praxis exams. While it wasn't the same series of tests, the practice questions and practice tests for each section were very helpful in focusing my studying. I then used study.com and IXL to refine the areas where I needed more of a refresher or a deeper dive. While a multi-pronged approach, it worked in helping me to pass all of my exams!

I studied all four parts mainly this book and I passed the first time. Some things that I did while studying is I read the book cover to cover and after each section I took the practice tests.After that made an outline using this book of all the parts I misses on the practice tests.In my experience, this was a helpful base then I built my knowledge by looking up things on google and YouTube.Study the social studies throughly!!! Make sure you know what happened in major events and then look them up on YouTube. This book gives a great summary, but the video will help you understand the whys and what’s.I definitely recommend it, very easy to get through, comprehensive, and the practice tests were helpful.Use other resources with this book and you will be more prepared then you think come test day.

This book really helped me pass my Praxis II reading, math and science the first time. I didn’t pass my social studies the first time but I wouldn’t blame it on the book because the information is in the text. I was just studying to take them all at one time, and me not really caring much for social studies I believe I just didn’t put forth as much effort as I did with the other subjects. I am currently still using this book for studying to retake the social studies. Wish me luck!

This was a good book. I felt pretty confident taking the test, but missed social studies by 7 points and science by 5. I will take it again very soon. I wish there was simply an online code to access material instead of a dvd.

I felt like there were questions asked about concepts not covered in the practice test, specifically for math. I did like how concise the study sections are and the examples given explained the concepts well. Thanks for creating these books to make it easier to study for the exam.
