Pen with Light, Light Up Ballpoint Pen, Bright Lighted Pens for Writing in the Dark Led Light Flashlight Nurses Pen with Light Tip 1 Pack Penlight-White Light

I purchased this pen set to use to keep our Boat's Log when on a longer trip which involves some night sailing, hence it'll be dark when we make the log entry. The set arrived on time (on my Chosen Amazon Day) along with another item. The set came in what appears to be a waterproof zip lock type bag. In the bag were: 3 Pens, 6 Refills, and 3 sets of replacement batteries. Clear and easy to read Instructions and a Satisfaction support sheet. The pens write almost a fine point, and the LED is very bright! We'll have no problems filling out the Log entries in the dark sailboat cockpit. The pens have a push button on the end opposite the nib. 1 push extends the Pen, 2nd push retracts it, 3rd push extends the pen and turns on the LED, 4th push retracts it and turns the LED off. Pen feels comfortable to hold, it's not skinny, but certainly not too fat. I'm really pleased with this purchase. Certain that I'll be able to buy replacement batteries. Battery Type is AG4 and each pen uses 3 of the batteries. They all come with 3 batteries installed in addition to the pack of 9 batteries included in the pack. Update after 6 months. Well, I was expecting to wear the batteries out, but after 6 months including a 3 week Trip to the Bahamas where I routinely used the pen (I only took one on board for that trip) still no sign of needing to replace the batteries. I'm careful about using them, turning the light off while I think of the next bit to write in my paper blog each night. So I would up my original 5 stars to 10. Love them!

I seldom write reviews of the items I buy on Amazon, however, for the Yacig Multi Functional Pens, I feel I must. At 72, my eyesight is not what it was, and I have difficulty seeing in the dusk or poorly lit areas. The LED light on the pen solves this problem and I can now see what I am writing clearly. As far as comfort goes, I am able to hold it easily and it is much more comfortable than the thin pens I was use to. Also, it has helped my “shaky” handwriting with the smooth writing ink without smudging or smearing. It comes with a spare refill as well as spare batteries, something I have not seen elsewhere. They say, “30 day no-hassle refund & return for 100% satisfaction”, and I must say they live up to that statement. I had one issue and they handled the issue completely and quickly. Mandy, the support representative was quick to respond and resolved my issue very fast and her follow-up was impressive. My wife writes critiques of plays and takes notes during the plays (in the dark). I bought her one of each color to see which one would be noticed the least by the audience around her. The white light is bright and more noticeable by others in the dark than the red or blue, but all 3 provide great lighting. She loves them! I use to have several pens on my desk, but now, the only one I use is my Yacig Multi Function Pen.

The pens came with the accessories as described. Since many of the pens shown looked, worked, and were described similarly, I read the reviews of several sellers to pick the Yacig Writing Instrument. In my opinion, it had the most positive reviews. I give the pens good reviews, too. I write with the white light pen the most & it flickers sometimes, but never goes out. The red & blue light pens work perfectly. The pens write a smooth, thin black line, not a heavier gel type line. I enjoy using the pens and use them with the pen light on even when it's not dark in the room. Just because it makes me smile to see the light bobbing along.

The pen works great, it comes with extra batteries and ink. 💤But if you’re using it to try and keep from waking up the other person in bed (turning on a light💡) the clicking is pretty loud. Even if you go in slow motion it’s equally as loud. Otherwise works great.

Update: Honestly this is some of the best customer service I have ever received. I originally ordered these last summer, I did not realize that I was supposed to receive refills and extra battery packs but was recently lamenting that I did not have any nor did I know how to get them. Discovering after reexamining the item page, that I was actually supposed to have received these with my original order I left the review below. The company quickly reached out to me, promptly corrected the error and even sent me an extra pen as a kindness for the hassle. I’m blown away! I mean that’s above and beyond exceptional service! These pens are great, and the red one isn’t too bright if you’re sharing a bed with someone who’s sleeping, and now I will be able to continue to enjoy using them for the indefinite future. (And apparently refills and replacement battery packs are available on Amazon.) Thank you so much!! I am thrilled! Original review: 3 starts. I bought the three pack of one of each color. I especially love the red light for writing at night. However it says I’m supposed to get ink refills and extra batteries. I did not receive these, the ink cartridges are pretty small and I don’t know how I would find replacement refills. At this price point they’re too expensive if you can’t refill them and replace batteries.

I use these ALL THE TIME AT WORK. They are so worth it. I have had these for years now, I have to get driver's to sign paperwork and I have to write while in dark at their trailer so it's nice for me and truck drivers, I don't know if drivers actually buy them except one he liked mine and told his wife he wanted some for Christmas last year, he came back for another load this past summer and was showing off to me LoL. His wife didn't know they existed like him till he came here. This is the best pen ever. I actually wish stores would have them. Extra batteries and ink replacement. Big big winner 🏆 here go ahead I dare you to put it in your cart and buy it. You will love it 💕💕 warning they have a tendency to grow legs and disappear from your hands at least mine do with driver's and I do give them away and of course I buy more LoL 🤣

I bought this lighted pen about 2 years ago. The light was never very bright, but it worked. I didn't use it much. I replaced the battery this week. The light was much brighter for one click. When I tried it again, nothing happened. I repeated the test several times and no light. Apparently the light burned out. I learned that the light cannot be replaced so it can't be fixed. According to Rufus, customer service for this pen is supposed to be excellent. However when I clicked on the "Contact Customer Service" for this order, it said that choice is not available.

The light-up-tip pens are great. I can see what I’m writing at night or in the dark and I can also use them without the light. The customer service is great too.

It's a nice pen to write with, and the action is solid and dependable. The red light is just right, and doesn't leave you dazzled at night. Comes with spare refills and batteries, and detailed instructions should you need them! Nice buy.

These pens are perfect! They give off a good amount of light that isn't bright enough to bother other people on the airplane, bedtime, camping and areas of dark or dim places. Sturdy and good quality. Recommended!

These are wonderful pens. They do make a difference, especially to the sight-impaired. And the fact that they include 6 refills and 3 extra batteries is a real bonus. Wonderful purchase.
