I recently bought a new home with a chain-link fenced yard. Prior to closing, every time I went to the house, the front gate was wide open. Yikes. So I hoped this would help remind people to keep it closed! One of my dogs is a bolter and super fast and sneaky. Unfortunately having this on one side of the gate wasn't enough (not a problem with the sign!!). So I ended up purchasing a second one for the inside of the gate. Fingers crossed, it seems to have done the trick!

My Dad's lawn service person has left the gate open twice, and we had to race to corral 3 dogs back into the yard. They were my Mom's heart and soul, and it's all he has left of her, so losing them would have been devastating. We got several of these signs and placed them on both sides of all gates, not to mention replaced the lawn person, and et voila! No more problems. It also gives us peace of mind to know that others can more easily tell that the yard is indeed occupied, as the dogs are generally quiet, until they aren't. These signs are bright with no scratches, easily seen and legible from a good ways away, and they were easy to attach. Definitely worth the money.

I needed this sign as some people just didn’t understand the “beware of dog” sign and would open the gate including delivery people then panic and try to run down the stairs when our dogs appeared. I do believe this brighter “keep gate closed” sign is more attention getting. So far it’s been very good.

Second sign I put up, bigger and not as polite (doesn't say "please"), easier to read. So far everyone has shut the gate so this one is good.

Very nice and the size is excellent love the big large red lettering.

This is perfect size sign and colour red is visible and gets attention. I actually like it a lot because its easy to notice when people drive by the fence or try to walk in the yard - and red colour makes them stop and think if they should enter or not... so without telling them “Beware” - still warns them about dogs inside the yard...Quality is good - thick and sturdy .. only had it for couple weeks... will do update later ... but seems sturdy enough and hopefully gets few years of use...Satisfied and it looks nice on our fence...

Product is exactly as seen in the photos, if you need a gate sign I recommend this one. It was cheap it's durable it's well made, it does exactly what you need. Now I don't have to worry about the Amazon man leaving my gate open LOL
