Only used them in the 4deg.C but will be using them in the freezer soon. So far, these are the best boxes from what i tried. This box closes securely compared to other boxes that open up if you're using 2ml cryo-tubes!I am considering getting more of these in a future when I need to increase my library. The box is of a very nice quality.

This was a great purchase for me. These small polycarbonate vial racks are fantastic. I had never used one before, but it has been a wonderful experience. Being able to organize things like this is really helpful. Unlike some other reviewers, I didn't encounter any issues.This is my fifth purchase from MUHWA and I have been consistently pleased with their products.The vial racks arrived clean and neatly packaged in plastic bags. Opening the trays was effortless, and the polycarbonate material is of high quality. While I haven't used them in a cryostorage setting yet, I have been using them to sort ink samples and they have performed perfectly. It's worth mentioning that these racks are significantly cheaper than name brand alternatives that would cost like four times as much.Overall, I am giving this product a five-star rating. If I encounter any issues in the future, I will provide an update.

The description reads 9X9. Unfortunately, the actual size is 6X6. My vials do not fit.Incorrect information

Numbers worn off of the front of the box and the clear plastic was scratched, like it had been used and then wrapped up in plastic. Also, the numbers are not very helpful because if you rotate the lid 90 degrees, it would change all of the internal numbering.

I like how solid these are and that they are labeled real well so you can easily find what you are looking for. The only issue I have had so far is depending on what kind of lid your cryo vial tubes have, you might not be able to use each slot as they get in the way of each other. It is nice having different colors as well so you can rapidly pick out which box you need even with a brief glance.

Work in a research lab that works with cryogenic samples.This is a decent cryo box. Easy to open and label. I appreciate the numbered lid and rack along with the slanted top left corner to keep track of orientation. It fits 1.5mL and 2mL microcentrifuge tubes with no issue and the samples don’t move around too much.I tried it out in -20, -80 and -196 (LN2) temps. At -20 there was no issues with it. At -80 the frost build up did make opening and closing a little slower but still was able to open with little hinderance.At LN2 temperatures though this unit struggles. Its really difficult to open and close when frosted over compared to other polycarbonate boxes I have. For cryogenic samples this can be a real issues as it allows your sample to heat up as you waste time trying to open the box. Not sure what the issue is as it looks similar to other boxes. Might be the type of polycarbonate used, really shrinks under cryo temps.I’ll be sticking to using this in the -80 or -20 for now.

Les boites sont livrées bien emballées. Elles sont bien numerotées et bien finis. Pas de bavures ou autres defaut visibles. Elles sont fonctionelles et paraissent solides. A voir leur tenus dans le temps apres plusieurs utilisations et lavages.

Die 4 Cryoboxen werden an einem sehr eng anliegenden Zip-Lock-Beutel geliefert - das Auspacken ist nicht ganz einfach, wenn man den Beutel nicht beschädigen möchte - er eignet sich schließlich gut zum Verwahren, wenn man die Boxen zeitweise nicht braucht (etwas anders gepackt, passen sie weit besser - s. Bild).Die Boxen sind von hoher Verarbeitungsqualität - auch die transparenten Deckel sind kratzerfrei. Die Boxen lassen sich in Boden, Gitter und Deckel unterteilen und zum Reinigen zerlegen - das Produkt ist gut durchdacht. Auf dem Deckel ist ein nummeriertes Raster aufgedruckt, das mit den auf dem Gitter aufgebrachten Zahlen übereinstimmt - jeder Platz in der Box ist also eindeutig gekennzeichnet - und da die 4 Boxen unterschiedlich gefärbte Gitter besitzen, lassen sich so fast 400 Proben eindeutig zuordnen. In die Gitter passen Röhrchen mit einem Durchmesser von bis zu ~10 mm..Boden und Deckel besitzen je 4 Bohrungen und Schlitze, deren Zweck sich mir nicht erschließen - die Schlitze könnten der Wärmeausdehnung entgegenwirken... Alle drei Bauteile der Cryoboxen besitzen an einer Ecke eine Abschrägung, die dafür sorgt, daß sie nur in einer - der richtigen - Position zusammengebaut werden können..Die Cryoboxen sind sauber verarbeitet, von hoher Qualität und gut konstruiert - einen Kritikpunkt konnte ich nicht feststellen und so bin ich mit dem Produkt sehr zufrieden.

These polycarbonate boxes are suitable for the freezer and seem to be of good quality.They have transparent lids with a locator grid. This reduces the possibility of any errors.This pack of 4 is very good value compared to how much a single box costs.

PhD student here.Update: I originally gave it 4 stars but I have downgraded it to 1 star.After 2 weeks of use in -80 storage the box got even harder to open. I had to work really hard to open it and as it is also super cold it was not very pleasant to use. Even worse is that the rack portion separated from the white bottom portion when I was trying to open essentially breaking. This is a terrible lab product and does not withstand low temperatures well.This cryobox fits nicely into the storage racks and withstands -80 and LN2 temperatures.The tubes fit well ranging from 1.5mL regular Eppendorf tubes to 2mL cryotubes.It was nice to have numbers both on the lid and on the rack itself for easy and quick identification of your sample.I did find the clear top a little bit hard to open, it is inconsistent and sometimes is a hit or miss. It becomes a hassle when the box is super cold and you are struggle to get it open. Not only is it cold for your hands but also your samples have a higher risk of warming up.Overall, it is okay but not the best quality of cryoboxes out there.
