Coats & Clark Eloflex Stretchable Thread - Navy

Works perfectly
Does what it should. I have been making headbands and this thread works perfectly. If I need more stretch, I use a zigzag stitch. This is a must have for stretchy material. I haven't had any break on me besides the initial time I pulled until it snapped, on purpose. I wanted to test it.

Just variable quality. It's great or it is terrible.
I got a blue color and it constantly broke. I tried everything: new needle, different needle type, different tension, different bobbin, cleaning the entire machine, etc. It only wouldn't break if I sewed at a turtle pace, and then it would still break periodically. Then I used a black version and had no issues. The reviews seem to align with that. Some people love it, some hate it. The quality just seems to vary and I will not purchase it again because it's not worth the gamble.

What's so special about this?
I'm just a rainy-day seamstress who can't tell much difference. I do see a small difference in the texture, but I can't see how there's any elasticity.

Weak thread frays
Cannot use this in a sewing machine - thread is fine and frays even on a low tension
