Very soft, silky, easy to install. Everybody loved it

These Nu locs have the spring form opening. The latch hole is NOT very large. It is hard to open. I would not recommend this loc system for new beginners. I used all four packages to cover my daughters full head using the individual illusion brain method. The locs are of good quality but they have several stray strings. The shine to them makes them look less natural. I added some foam product to cut down the shine a bit.This same loc package was $8.99 in my local beauty store. Therefore, I saved a bit of money by purchasing them online. The best thing about this product is that they are light weight. Great color.

I brought this hair to do Soft locs and it was great for the look. Very light weight and have a nice soft natural loc look to it. It had about 21 locs in each pack. It did have a weird plastic like smell to them right out the pack. The way I do my soft locs I felt these locs were too small and would recommend getting larger ones. I style them without using the wrapping technique, so I individually plat my hair and use a crochet needle to lock the twist into my plat at the root and then go up into the loc and pull my hair through the loc. Doing it that way I felt the loc were too small to feed my hair through, so it was tedious and took longer then it should have. If you do the soft locs using the wrapping technique this size would be okay. I only have hair on the top part of my head, sizes and back is shaved off. I used 2 packs of 18" and used additional 2 packs of 14" to extend the locs at the end. I extended the locs before I installed them, so that's the pic above. Locs stop at my waist and I'm 5'10". Over all, the hair style turned out great, well to me it did lol.

This product was better than the quality I thought would come. It is light and wears well. If treated with care then it can be reused.

Ok so I always wanted faux locs but never liked the long expensive process of getting them so because this is my first attempt at faux locs I searched on YouTube and found that these one were said to be the most natural looking crochet locs. And they surely are. I installed mine using the individual crochet method to make it look extra extra natural. Now ladies I’ll warn you the YouTube videos make it look way easier than it actually is. The first row at the back of my head looks a mess but eventually it started coming together once I got the hang of it so PATIENCE is the key ! These definitely are the most natural looking locs like it’s scary but I also must warn you that my hair is natural so it did puff up a lot and I ended up with larger “locs” at the roots. My hair is a reddish brown color, I purchased 1B and had a really hard time hiding my hair at first until I got the hang of it. I purchased the 6 pack and only used 3 so I’m sure that my second attempt will be much better than my first attempt. Bottom line is these are a great protective hairstyle and I really love them . From now on whenever I decide to get faux locs I will only be using this brand.

I do this hairstyle every summer . Looks beautiful. Did start snagging earlier than usual but hair is very realistic and nice .

I’ve been wearing soft locs for a while now. Great protective style if installed properly and cared for! These locs are so natural which is the best part. Easy to wash also.

I bought these for individual crochet locs. Got lots of compliments. Hair does get tangled ( I simply sprayed a bit of hair oil on and rubbed my hands through the hair) NOT UNRULY, but I think it adds to the look.You can easily wear for a few weeks. I took mine out after a little less than 2 weeks, as I was on the fence about reattaching my real locs that I’d cut a few years before (which I’ve since done) . Once I took out the nu locs, I washed, air dried, and stored them since I only had them in for a very short time. My mom decided to have me do the individual crochet on her for an easy summertime style and she loves them. She actually now wants to loc her own hair because of them. I do feel like the loop is non existent on many locs if not all of the locs ad the hair is tightly coiled and I found myself having to make my own loop. But these locs look really nice so I don’t mind, but it does add time to your install.
