Tangle resistance garden hose
We ended up purchasing four of the zero pro garden house to water different areas around our house and are very happy with the quality of the product, great design and flexibility to move hose around. when needed.

The only hoses I use
Zero-G is the only hose I use and currently have them in four different locations around my house and garden in 75' and 100' lengths. They are composed of an inner "rubberish" core with a tightly woven covering. When empty, it collapses into a flat "ribbon" - very easy to coil into a hose basket or wrap on a stand. With the water on, it works the same as any rigid hose....you do need a nozzle on the end as the water pressure gives the hose its structure. Without a nozzle you will just have water running out of that flat ribbon. Because of its weight and flexibility, I am able to use much longer hoses. I can hit all areas of my vegetable garden with the 100'. It''s quick and easy to recoil when I'm finished which provides another benefit...no water left in the hose to heat up. The only negative: it is very difficult to repair. I have done it with regular hose repair kits, but it involves cutting the woven cover to reach the inner core and then making sure the woven cover is completely secured. Having said that.....the only reason I have had to "repair" was definitely user error...... I left the hoses attached to faucets/nozzles "forever" and could not remove them. Tried to cut them off to add a new nozzle.... (very time consuming) one worked, but not well. Finally decided to cut my losses, saw off the faucet ends and buy new hoses!!!!! So YES I would highly recommend these, but make sure you remove them from faucets/nozzles periodically.....normal garden maintenance - hmmm.

Not Very Durable Pricey Hose
While these hoses are lightweight and somewhat convenient, they are quite expensive and have some major flaws that folks should be aware of. I have had my Zero-G a few years now so just be aware of the reviews posted by folks based only on a few weeks of usage. - The soft lightweight nature of the hose makes it quite easy to kink (often in multiple places). So you find yourself constantly going back to unkink the hose to get water flowing again. - The hose itself seems to be fairly durable, however, the collar where the hose attaches to the ends can/will easily wear out and start to leak. This is really too bad and hard to repair. - While my hose is still under warranty, attempts to contact the company were completely ignored. So buyer beware that the only warranty you likely have is from the place of purchase for whatever short-term policy they may have. There are some excellent alternatives to the Zero-G such as Flexilla that I would highly recommend as an alternative.

Tired of wrestling a heavy, kinked hose?
Well, here you go! I like that this hose weighs less but yet is durable and super flexible. It's a great middle option for people who have those heavy, rigid, hard plastic hoses and those who like the bendy expandable ones. Well worth it.

Lighter weight, durable so far
This hose is like a mini fire hose. I am using it at a horse farm to clean and fill water buckets. It is lighter than the heavy-duty rubber hoses and maneuvers better over the lower half of the stalls' Dutch doors. I store it in a clean muck bucket that I drilled holes in the bottom of for water to drain out. It is easy to transport in my muck bucket, and requires little space to store away. The drawback for me is that in order to use it, the water needs to be turned on with enough pressure to completely fill the hose (usually full blast), then you have to make sure the ENTIRE hose is free (in other words, you can't only use a short part of it and leave the rest on a hose reel or in the storage bucket.) Then you must take all the kinks out of the collapsed loops. Once the entire hose is pressurized, then it won't kink up. I had previously used a collapsible hose which is even lighter in weight and shrinks to a shorter length, but it is not as durable in the barn environment, especially with the potential for horses stepping on it.

FINALLY! A light-weight hose that LASTS!
I've ordered countless "Gro Green" and "Pro Green" hoses in the past. Although I loved their flexibility and light weight, within 6 months, they ALL sprang leaks (there are 3 areas in our yard for hoses, and I bought hoses twice for each spigot -- a total of 6 or those badly made hoses). I finally gave up, and reluctantly decided I'd have to go back to the old-fashioned heavy-weight and inflexible garden hoses. Then I found THIS hose!! It's fantastic! I can't recommend it highly enough.

light but multiple flaws
Some aspects of this hose are very nice. I appreciate the light weight and the associated ease of storage. But it has too many flaws to recommend it. I have the green hose that I bought here and two black ones purchased elsewhere. All three have faded, with the green one looking the worst. While this isn't a functional issue, it's annoying to have hoses that look like they are older than Methusaleh. I'm close enough myself. The claimed no-kink isn't true. They are indeed more resistant to kinks than older hoses, but why exaggerate? The biggest problem, though, is the connectors. They appear to be made of aluminum-- definitely not brass. The threads don't slide over each other smoothly, making it annoying to twist them together and difficult to get them tight enough to avoid leaks at the washers. Was the designer really such a gram weenie, to reject brass? Given the price, the choice surely wasn't just for cost. Oh, and the part of the connector you need to grip feels like a grater. I have enough pain from arthritis; I don't need the skin on my hands being scraped off too. And as others have noted, the connectors fail and cannot be fixed. I've been trying today to get one to stop leaking. It's definitely leaking where the connector is molded to the hose, not at the threads and washer. Yeah, I'm within the advertised ten year warranty. Trying to take advantage of it would be a big hassle, hoses in the landfill, and the need to once again shop for new hoses. A disappointing product costs me time as well as money. Grump.

Only hose I would buy
These still kink, not as bad as the rubber hoses, & are much lighter than rubber hoses.

Muy buena manguera
Me gusta por liviana, además soporta mucho la intemperie, solo asegurarse de tener buena presión para que trabaje al 100%

Great heavy duty hose
Works like a garden hose is supposed to. Not much else to say about function but construction is terrific.

Leaked - arrived faulty
Leaked like a sieve from both end connections - faulty. My original hose connections work perfectly. Tried new washers but it’s a manufacturer issue with the hose and end connections. Quality control issues. Very disappointing

Not good enough
I am so disappointed in this hose I loved it but it only lasted 15 months $120 + tx that's just not good enough.
