Aurifil Monofilament Invisible Nylon Thread Clear 16400 Yard Cone, (ITCC16000)

I had heard bad things about using clear thread but this worked perfectly for a stained glass window quilt I made that had very bright colors in the blocks and black strips in between blocks. I didn't want the thread to show but wanted to be able to see the quilt pattern. It shows the quilt pattern without messing up the bright blocks.

It arrived without the Aurifil branded packaging, with a price tag from something else and a printed sticker on top that said it was Aurifil thread. The thread itself was not as fine, and felt rougher than Aurifil. Returned.

this monofiliment thread works beautifully with my sewing machine -- have used cheaper threads in the past that caused nothing but problems. This thread is worth every penny! huge quantity for minimal cost!

This is a fine thread which is very strong. It is great for Stitching in the Ditch, for quilters. SITD helps hold the fabrics together while the quilt is free motion quilted.

I really had to reduce the tension on my longarm to keep from breaking but once I got it set properly, it worked beautifully. It is difficult to work with only because it is INVISIBLE. But invisible was the look I wanted.

Works great on my long-arm quilting machine.
