I nearly rated this before instead of a five because the background isn't darkened but that's actually a pretty minor thing that can be done by yourself with YouTube instructions or you can take it to a quality Jeweler I wouldn't take it to someone who is not quality because personally I think I can do a better job then most Jewelers on this type of thing. It does not say it is or is not darkened in the background but I think the photograph makes it look that way but it is a quality piece and I'm glad to have finally been able to replace one from long ago I'll figure out how to darken the background I've already done most of it but I want a better quality that markers wiped away LOL. I didn't want to spend money for the background and the solvent etc. Most Jewelers keep this stuff on hand

This locket is absolutely gorgeous! For $99 I had it engraved with my monogrammed initials! And delivered to me less than 5 days! The Quality and craftsmanship are absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this company and this locket.

This locket was maybe opened up 3 times before the clasp stopped closing/locking. Waste of time and money. Look elsewhere for a quality piece.

I love the adjustable chain. The locket and chain are very pretty. But after opening and closing only 3 times the clasp didn't want to close and hold. I'm going to take it to a local jeweler and see what he thinks. It is pretty thin and so rather delicate also.

What a beautiful necklace! I bought this for my grandma and it is soo nice, I think I need to buy another one for myself! One mention, the engravings come freshly shaved and may be sharp to the touch, but within a week, it feels smoother to the touch.

I love the size of the locket. It has a beautiful design on it. Plus, it is big enough to get actual faces in there!!! Definitely the quality to be an heirloom locket.

I liked this on line. I had it personalized and it came nicely packaged. Unfortunately I don’t like the bright shine. It’s too bright therefore making it look cheap. In my opinion. If you’re thinking of buying this, get it first then have it personalized. You decide.
