The assembly of this is quite easy and it does look good. When you look closely, any imperfections do show up as it is a brilliant white colour.*Edit after 2 years this is now yellowing and looks awful. Will need to replace as painting would be extremely difficult

upon putting this fire surround together, I noticed that there was a chip out of the front, because I had put it all together, I did not want to return it , there were also little digs at the side of the unit, although these did not notice too much, I then decided to paint the chip mark. Although it is a nice looking surround I do not think it is well made
