🔧 Screw Your Way to Perfection!
The KREGSML-C250S5-50 Stainless Steel Pocket Screws are 2-1/2 inch #10 coarse screws designed for easy driving and maximum durability. With a self-tapping tip and a flat-bottom head, these screws create tight pocket-hole joints, making them ideal for woodworking projects involving softwoods and engineered materials. The case-hardened steel construction ensures they won't bend or break, while the Maxi-Loc washer head guarantees compatibility with standard Kreg pocket holes.

Be Conservative with Drill Setting
We used these in pocket holes to attach the end caps to a long raised bed in our vegetable garden. Since they are stainless, they will outlast the wood. They pulled in the joint nice and tight as is typical of Kreg’s pocket hole joints, except for one screw. If you are going to use them in soft wood like pressure-treated which is what they are intended for, be sure to dial back your battery drill. I had ours set on 15 and I drove the screw right past the stop. I recommend using a setting of 12.

Inferior steel being used.
Very disappointing product. I have used Kreg brand pocket hole screws for years with no complaints. This is the first time I used their stainless steel screws. The steel is too soft and the square bits have a tendency to deform the head recess if there is any resistance defeating the purpose of using square head screws. I have not encountered this with any other Kreg brand screws. These are obviously made with inferior stainless steel.

Poor Steel
These screws are very soft and the heads strip out way to easy causing scrap our other issues. Kreg should sell quality like the tools they sell. I personally cannot recommend.

Metal too soft, square drive too small.
I wanted to get stainless pocket hole screws so that my outdoor cedar project would get rust stains. I thought these would be ideal except that the metal on the screw heads is too soft. The square drive is supposed to use a #2 bit, however, every #2 bit I own seemed too big for the screw. As a result, the bit wouldn't seat fully into the screw and when combined with the soft metal, would strip the head just as the screw started to bite into the wood. On one occasion, I couldn't even back the screw out and had to drill another pocket hole. Next time, i'll just stick with the coated screws.

Well made
These work very well, they are very shiny even for a stainless steel but so far they hold up very well upon install, time will tell

Not the best
I have stripped the head on many of these screws and I’m only using them on cedar. I have had much better deck screws from HD.

Good looking SS screw heads (symmetrically holding cedar panels)
Used them for my removable cedar ceiling project in one of the guest bathrooms with a lot of plumbing/electrical stuff hidden in the ceiling. Good looking SS screw heads (symmetrically holding cedar panels).

These are junk.
I rated this 1 star because I couldn't rate it 0. They are square drive heads and the head does not fit the Kreg sq. dr. bit which caused the head to strip. Also when you were able to get one to have some torque they were so soft they would bend. I purchased these screws because they were Kreg, but they are ****Junk***> I also purchased 1 1/4" screws they were OK rate them 5. NOTE, the 1 1/4" were marked made in Tiawan, the 2 1/2" were marked made in China.

poor quality metal as it was very difficult to drive ...
While they are an expensive choice, I needed stainless steel Kreg screws for a project I was working on. Sadly they turned out to be of soft, poor quality metal as it was very difficult to drive these screws without the head stripping even using a Kreg #2 driver.

If you need many screws and and fastening 2x lumber ...
If you need many screws and and fastening 2x lumber, it's cheaper to buy and use the kreg hd jig and screws.
