Younger son loves his sports...
Son requested this because he likes to make his own picks and see how they lined up with his guesses.

Good overall.
Very good write ups on most of the college players looking to enter the NFL draft. Most of the players have good detail and coverage in the write ups. One improvement I would like to see is a index of players in alphabetic order in the back of the book so one can find the more obscure players easier. That said, highly recommend.

DTP's NFL DRAFT GUIDES ARE GREAT!!!!
DTP's NFL DRAFT GUIDES ARE GREAT FROM A FOOTBALL FAN'S PERSPECTIVE!!!! I STUMBLED ACROSS HIS GUIDES IN 2018 AND BOUGHT IT ON A WHIM.....I WASN'T DISAPPOINTED. His guides come out early before the other ones and it's interesting how in some cases DTP's opinions are different where the other later guides are very similar in their grades. Interesting read and I compare his observations with the later other guides to see how Da' Bears do with their selections!!!! I just got my 2019 guide and love it!!!!

NFL Draft season is here
In what has become an annual reading event for me, the 2019 edition of DTP's draft guide has arrived. Daniel provides in-depth reviews of over 300 prospects, relaying both the strengths and weaknesses for each prospect. Each evaluation is loaded with details, and it's once again presented in a clear and easy to understand format that any football fan can jump right into. Daniel's attention to detail along with the amount of information he provides has quickly elevated his guide to being one of the premier pre-draft reads on the market.

Best of it’s kind
Accurate and insightful but needs an index of players names

Needs Index
The book had a great deal of information about prospective draft picks. All-in-all it was good to use on draft day but I found it awkward. Let me explain; first of all the listings were sometimes difficult for example, "edge rushers" separate from line backers or defensive ends. I realize that they are frequently interchangeable but looking for them was very difficult. Inside LBs were separate than outside LBs. 3-4 and 4-3 defense creates difficulty in defining proper definitions so what about we limit the category's to LBs and DEs. I was all over the place looking up draft choices...Another item was the index was not very helpful. Why not list all players, by position, in front portion of magazine? When a player is selected you just go to the listing alphabetically by position and then refer to the portion designated for that position. For example; John Hurley LB, Purdue University, look in index at front of publication under LB and John Hurley is number 23. Go to the LB section #23 and read the info for John Hurley. Have a space next to the name where one could write what team drafter him and what number he was drafted as... for instance Team: Jets, Round: 2 Number 41.

SPOT ON!
I basically attribute my drafting of LB Tremaine Edmunds and WR DJ Chark to Daniel Parlegreco's 2018 NFL Draft Guide. My league drafts players a year after their NFL season so this year I will be using the 2019 draft guide. I'm looking forward to the 2020 edition but I just hope Daniel publishes a paperback version so that it is always handy when I prepare for my Action PC football league draft.

Excellent Guide
I bought my first one for the 2018 draft and frankly didn't pay much attention to it. I've always bought the splashier magazine guides,. While I was waiting for the new one to come, I went back and looked at the 2018 book. Holy Cow! He was right on with 80% or so of his assessments. Got the new one and had it by my side during draft weekend. It was excellent. I'm in for the 2020 one.

It's ok
A well presented guide lacking in depth evaluation of players in the later rounds. The top 90 or so players are well documented so this feels as if it regurgitates a lot of info already out there. You would hope for some more detail in late round picks and un drafted free agents. Nawrockis guides are still the benchmark.
