I would admit the initial setup was confusing, but was able to figure it out in few minutes. Once it is setup, it is ready to go. Always on, shows the indoor and outdoor temperatures. I no longer have to look at the phone to check the temperature outside. It displays humidity levels too. It came with one outdoor sensor which I installed in my backyard. Very straightforward, and nice display center piece with bright colorful screen which displayed weather and date/time information.

I think this is great now that I have it working but the station came with no instructions or troubleshooting ideas. It took me a while but I finally got it working using YouTube for another model. The Wittime website had a manual for another model which did not help.. the alarm comes on at noon every day and we can’t figure out how to stop it.

I purchased a no name weather station on ebay. The day I set it up it rained cats and dogs outside, yet the weather station displayed partially cloudy. Very disappointing...I have consequently been comparing been comparing other weather stations, reading reviews. Here are some things I learned:One of the most expensive-units out there - Not reliable across several models from the same vender, weather sensors lose contact, and are much more expensive. General dissatisfaction with this unit abounds in the reviews I have read. But one thing is very positive. The graphics in this venders units are astounding, especially for stormy clouds. If you lookat phone and tablet weather apps you will find beatiful graphics! So looking at weather stations we see many beautiful layouts but the weather sections are plain, iconistic. This model by Wittime has the dynamic beautiful graphics. That is what pushed me in the end to order this model. I love that I am reading Wittime has excellent customer support. There are three brightness levels when plugged in, so the unit can be dimmed ar night to save electricity. This company reading the reviews makes reliable accurate products. The portable satellite has clear easy to read temperature And humidity reading, better than competitive products.Cons:I like the layout of other Wittime units, but the main use for me is viewing the weather, so that lead me to purchase this. It has beautiful weather graphics!IMPROVEMENTS: (currently missing in all current products)- use dynamic beautiful graphics like used in this unit for all weather units for all new products- allow custom color choices for the weather interface- have three customizable layout designs for the units, some featuring time, some weather- add a selectable setting to set the dim time and wake time full brightness, to save electricity- add a low battery warning for the base and satellite unit that displays on the weather station as appropriatePENDING:So I wait for my weather station to arrive, will it be accurate and show rain when it is raining? We shall see. Future updates to come.

Got this WT2078 unit as a gift after researching the market, had sensor synching problems with other brands, read this one to be better. It is, but only for ONE sensor. A 2nd sensor will not synch, and the problem is not that sensor b/c when I take the primary (included) sensor out of service, the auxillary sensor synch's and becomes the primary active sensor. Then, of course, the included sensor does not synch, leaving me still with just one sensor.Unfortunately there is absolutely NO Customer Service information with the unit or the 2nd sensor, and no website for support; the troubleshooting sections just says 'reboot' the sensor. THIS HAS BEEN FIXED WITH HELP FROM THE SUPPORT TEAM, DESPITE NO CONTACT INFO ANYWHERE BUT ASKING FOR HELP ON THIS FORUM. tURNS OUT i HAD TO OPEN THE 2ND SENSOR BATTERY COMPARTMENT UP AND PUSH THE TINY SWITCH FROM cH 1 TO cH 2. iMMEDIATELY IT SYNCHED! ALL IS GOOD, BUT SURE WISH THE AUX SENSOR CAME WITH A NOTE INSIDE TO DO THIS - WHAT WOULD THAT COST? AND WOULD HAVE SAVED ME FROM ALMOST RETURNING IT. bTW, Other owners are correct, you cannot be sitting in any other location to read the main unit display except MAYBE A 30 DEGREE WINDOW of head on and 4-6ft off the ground; sitting in an easy chair and hoping to read the outside temp will not work unless you tip the unit facing forward with any 1/2 -3/4 " riser. Bought this to replace another older unit. First thing it tells you to do is set the altitude. Except you can't. So the pressure is inaccurate and everything else will be too. The actual pressure where I am right now is 29.55 and falling and the unit reads 29.92 and rising. There instructions in the paper manual, but they don't work. There is a cute little visual that should say sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy - but they are all lit up! And it is pouring outside. But the temperature works. I guess I should have bought a thermometer at the hardware store for $5.

I was given this as a gift. After multiple tries I can’t get the outside temp to stay synced to the inside monitor. The units aren’t that far away from each other. I wish I could return this product but I no longer have the box.If anyone has any ideas how to sync it, I’m all ears.

This was a gift for my very particular DH. He was very pleased. Better than the last one he had. Very Reasonable price too.

Was fine, easy to read. But stopped working after 3 months!!
