Calculi Strainer Kidney Stone Collector for Urine Analysis Testing (5 Pack)

Purchased this pack of strainers because I get kidney stones and needed some more.I've only had to use one so far. It washes well and catches tiny stones. Typical size and shape of other strainers I've used before.I would recommend if you get kidney stones and need to collect them or for monitoring when they pass if they are tiny, use these strainers.

If you need this, I sympathize with you. Kidney stones are painful.... and you don't have many choices for strainers. This is a good choice. I used paper paint strainers, and this collapsible thing..... this is the best of the bunch. If you have kidney stones, you want things to be as easy as possible.

I purchased this to rinse and drain frozen mysis and brine shrimp, and it works perfectly for me. I rest the strainer over a small cup, fill the small cup with ro/di water (tank water works too), and let it defrost/rinse. I also add my flake food in as well. A few minutes later, I give it a stir and lift the collection cup out of the water and let it drain, removing most of the extra "juice" that is full of phospates and nitrates. The collection cup has a fine mesh strainer that allows the juice to drain easily, but captures even the smallest brine shrimp. After a week of feeding like this twice a day, I found my nitrates and phosphates dropped nicely compared to the week before. Would buy again...but it came with 3, so that won't be for a while!

These things are great for the purpose I need them for. I just wish they were bigger. It would be nice if they could fit on the toilet seat so you don’t have to hold them when urinating. Other than that they are a good purchase.

Hate to be writing a review while suffering from a kidney stone, but the flimsy strainers provided by the doctor's office were only good for keeping in a purse when traveling. These were excellent!They can be used for anything you want to strain, since the plastic is durable.

Catches kidney stones as described.

I was diagnosed as having a kidney stone and it was really difficult to pee in a jar and I didn’t want to fish through the jar or a “hat” (which I couldn’t get for free from the dr 🙄) so this was the perfect solution. I was worried about how it would work (I am a chick so...) but it was relatively easy to use this... just a little annoying for obvious reasons. It caught the tiny tiny stones I passed without a problem. Hopefully I won’t need to use it again.... but I’m glad I had this when I needed it.

This is exactly the same as the one I got from the hospital. It is little bit of a nuisance to clean but that's just because of how tiny the hole are and need to be in order to catch small particles.
