Eaz-Lift48554 Gooseneck Ball Plate for 5th Wheel Rails,1 Pack

Although I've only had the chance to use this item 1 time since I purchased it, It is everything I could have wanted. I can now pull a Goose neck trailer just by moving my 5th. Wheel hitch out of the way to allow me to connect to a goose neck trailer ( Yes it mounts nicely underneath a 5th. wheel hitch ) It is made of heavy steel and the hitch ball has been fully welded and extra supported unlike some others I observed when looking to buy this item. Thank You for making this hitch and at a reasonable cost.

Bought a truck that had the fifth wheel hitch but no gooseneck and we have multiple gooseneck trailers so we had to have that. I didn’t realize this was an option until the salesman mentioned it. I looked into it and decided to try it out since it was drastically cheaper and I’m glad I did.The only problem was installing it. It was off by a smidge and neither piece was giving any leeway. I ended up taking a grinder to it after reading some other reviews but I just took a little off each time so it ended up taking 30-45 minutes just to get it to fit. Once I got it to fit though we have had no issues since.Very sturdy product that is solid and simple to use.It does raise the ball up over the bed a few inches so be ready for that. If your truck is lifted you may want to consider a traditional ball.

Very well made! Nice welds and thick metal! I pull my 46ft gooseneck with it.

after installation, I hooked up to a 32' gooseneck and put 15 round bails of hay on it and it held up just fine. When pulling the load, and making curves and the weight of the trailer shifts, you can hear the plate move a little. I guess there is a little slack between the rails and the hitch.

I pull a goose dump trailer that weights in at 6000 pounds and I haul 6 ton in it. Does very well. No issues

I have two of these and they work great. The beauty of these is that I can mount my 5th wheel hitch over them as I pull campers and trailers with goosenecks and 5th wheel attachments. My only gripe is that a chain hooking system is not included. But....they're easily installed and sold by the same maker.

Have used the adapter once and no problems hauled approximately 4,400 lbs of cattle. It seems/appears to be very well made and very heavy duty. It fit my “rails” perfectly. The only problem and I use the term “problem” loosely, getting the main pins thru the rail openings and then getting the hair pins through the main pin holes, because the adapter fit so snuggly. Used a pair of needle nose pliers.

The actual product is slightly different then the picture. It has chain cutouts on both ends and they are on the angled portion not the flat part. Very heavy duty and rated at 30,000lbs not 25,000lbs like most of the others. Fit the Curt rails in my bed perfectly

Fits into the 5th wheel rails no issues whatsoever.The ball itself is a little short so the trailer hitches rub on the plate over rougher terrain.

Love this product. Called around to a few hutch shops in the area and their prices were drastically higher. This works great with my truck and makes it so I can pull my trailer.

Was hesitant to buy something like this off Amazon but it is high quality. So convenient (and a big money saver) not to have to buy and install new rails going from a 5th wheel hitch to a gooseneck. Comes with pins.
