Microsoft Office 2019 Inside Out

This book seems to cover most everything I have had a question about... only thing I would recommend (as for the same of ALL computer books)…. a COMPLETE INDEX. If I want to find out how to set margins for example, why can't they list "MARGIN SETTING" in the index as opposed to having to look for it someplace like …. "SETUP"?

Be sure to notice the fine print at the top of the page when you click the "Look Inside" link to see the preview pages of the book on Amazon. The printed book is NOT in color. Also, it is HEAVY! Over 1,000 pages! I thinking that there is probably a ton of good information in there, and I may even keep it and not return it. But I generally don't like such a big clunky book. I guess I'll start previewing my books at Barnes & Noble... again. I'm disappointed in the book and with Amazon.

This reference is easy to follow and has bits of humor tucked into its pages. There’s so much to know about MS Office programs that even experienced users can Probably learn a thing or two. Granted, it’s easy to search the web for most anything you will encounter, but I love keeping this handy treasure on my desk!

Well-indexed, too. I like to know everything, and this book doesn't disappoint.

I tend to be a power-user of Office and other things.Several years ago, I got a then-new version of Office. I wanted a good book that would help me get to "the good stuff," not just the stuff I already knew. When I saw the Inside Out book, I was attracted to its heft. (A thin book could not contain the sort of info I want in a reference book.) Very quickly, I learned a lot of things I hadn't known. We were starting to change Office versions at work as well. I brought my copy of Inside Out to work and let my department's admin assistant borrow it long enough that she knew that was a book she and other admins needed.Recently, I added a Mac to my computer system, so I got Office 365. I've also got PC and mobile connections. Because I want to know what nifty things are new, as well as how to do things that I don't do as often, I just got this book. I got it for the Kindle and now have it on the iPad, PC, and Mac. It's already been useful.Getting the book for the Kindle lets me have it literally at my finger tips whenever I need it!

If you want a more in-depth look at features than most books provide, the Inside Outside series is excellent. Totally ignore the people that say the book is too big, it's typical size for an in-depth look and provides details that other books are missing. The Inside Out series of books is my favorite series from Microsoft on a product.
