I needed a shirt exactly like this. I thought about what would be the perfect shirt to protect me from the sun and mosquitoes. It would have to be super light weight because I get hot easily. It would have to be super comfortable because I get uncomfortable easily. I searched Amazon and found this shirt, ordered it and am now absolutely loving it. Because of other review recommendations and because this shirt is fitted, and because I have long arms and large hips, and because my intention is to wear this shirt over tank tops and such, I sized up to Large although Medium would be my normal size in tops. The Large is perfect (I am about a size 10 on top and a size 14-16 on bottom.) This Columbia Tamiami II shirt is even better than what I thought up in my head as the perfect shirt. It is vented in the upper back. The snaps down the front and on the sleeve cuffs are so much better than buttons because it is so easy and quick to open and close. There are 2 zippered pockets on the left and right bottom - Wow! It is fitted so gives a woman a fashionable look. It even has a bit of a stretch to it. It is so light and comfortable, you barely even feel it against your skin. The shirt is a bit see-through (at least, the white one is) so I don't think it is best for wearing without anything underneath. You might even get away with wearing this to the office with a camisole or tank top underneath, either buttoned up, or with some buttons (actually, snaps) on top unbuttoned for a layered look. I would say, because of the pockets, this shirt is better suited for not being tucked in. If you like this shirt but are looking for something that has a relaxed fit instead, or if you are on the XL size, consider the Columbia Sportswear Women's Bahama Long Sleeve Top instead. I love the Bahama top as well and wear that one in my normal size of Medium.

Let me count the ways I LOVE this skin saving shirt! Tailored to reveal my figure, saving my skin from the strong So. CA and Hawaiian sun. This SPF shirt is always cool and breezy to wear and dries in an instant. I love to wear this with or without a top underneath. I wear this to work, amusement parks, all day outings, over my bathing suit, gardening, hiking and while kayaking, I even roll it up and stash it in my purse just incase I am out and about and get caught off guard in the sun. The 2- zip pockets on the side easily store my lip balm, credit card, keys even my iPhone s8! I use the the velcro tab on the front to hang my sunglasses from if I need to slip them off for a minute. I like the fact it does not have big square bulky pockets over the chest, rather a feminine look. The sleeves are just long enough to slightly cover over the back of my hands and I am 5'6" 130 lb. a 36C and the Medium fits beautifully. I have the color White Cap which is a cool ice light blue with slight grey tones and my new Clear Water which is a rich medium toned green blue, think of Mediterranean water blue. No shrinkage that I have noticed washing in cold water and just a few minutes on low in the dry then hang to completely dry. I rarely write reviews but seeing how I just purchased my second shirt shows how much I love this shirt!

I have a lot of these SPF shirts and wear them constantly in hot humid, or hot dry climates. I gave this a 4 star instead of 5 because of the color. From the name, Tiki Pink, I did not expect it to be a light coral color. The picture is acually pretty accurate but I was hoping for a more pink shade. That being said, I'm happy with the shirt quality and I know its a functional design. It is not sheer at all. I'm 5'3' and 115 lbs. and the medium is a good fit. The side pocket easily fits my Pixel 8. Happy to get it on sale.

I got this for Florida to prevent sun burn. It is such a beautiful color and such a well-made shirt and it’s really comfortable and lightweight. I love it it’s very flattering and I love the option of the rollup sleeve that buttons. It comes in many colors I will be buying more. You won’t be sorry.

Columbia Women's Tamiami is my very favorite shirt for summer sun protection, and I have many shirts to compare it against. I'm in the California sun a lot and prefer long sleeves to protect my skin. I bought this shirt in 4 colors as it is the most comfortable, coolest, softest, most flattering of all my sun shirts. The fabric and fit are exceptional!! CAUTION: the fit of the 2017 Tamiami II is what I'd call "athletic" - so it's a slim fit. I usually wear a Medium, unless the top is labeled "Athletic Fit", which is code for "tight". I bought one Tamiami II in Medium, and it is very flattering, but a little tighter than I normally would wear. However, the fabric is soft a little stretchy, so I actually really like this fit. I bought 3 in Large, and the 2017 version Large is a generous-but-not-overly-loose fit. I also bought one in Dark Lime, which is not a color that Columbia shows on their website right now - I think it may be a previous year's color? That shirt in Large is much bigger. So I wish I would have ordered the Medium in Dark Lime. Also, the White is VERY transparent - I don't mind as I usually wear a tank top under it, but I wouldn't wear it over just a bra.
