Tumi is outrageously practical + excellent quality. It’s hard sometimes to handle different products under only slight diverse descriptions. This is one of the Tumi Alpha 3 series: like described the MEDIUM sling bag. This one has HANDLES.Best are YouTube videos, so I do not wish to add another video talking about the same. Just in case I’ll add picture of the tag.The diverse way of ergnomic security of the BUCKLES, requires attention:I wasn’t quickly able to open those clasps to add or take off either one of the two straps which come with this awesome bag / backpack. Here is how:1. Pull the opening apart. (picture big circle)2. Do do such, one must ALIGN (picture small circle) the buckle (picture big arrow) to the feature attached to the strap (picture small arrow). I wish this is helpful.Note: don’t turn!

This is a very diverse tote. I've owned a larger one and now the medium. It fits perfectly with my 14" MacBook Air. The larger size MacBook is too large for it. The expandable U-zipper makes for room for a long haul flight and it is great for a light carry-on.

TUMI's Alpa Three medium travel tote is a very versatile bag. Numerous pockets and compartments make stowing small electronic components a breeze, and the main compartment's expansion zipper makes it truly cavernous when opened. My 14" MacBook Pro and 11" iPad Pro fit perfectly in the main compartment whether expanded or compressed, and when expanded a huge capacity remains. There is plenty of room for a Dopp kit, backup batteries, and various chargers when fully expanded. Also included is a quick-access storage slot for a cell phone or other quick-draw item on the top-front between the handles which is very convenient. All of the pockets have storage slots, a key lanyard, pen & card slots, and heavy zippers, and the lower-front pocket even has what appears to be a drip seal across the top of the zipper. This drip seal is the only negative I've found. The seal is quite rigid, making it almost impossible to use that compartment when the bag is full. The well-designed three-way carry system is excellent; heavy-duty handles allow briefcase style carry, the single backpack strap allows comfortable backpack style carry over either shoulder, and the third carry method is cross body with an adjustable strap with detachable pivot hooks. The Alpha Three Medium Travel tote is not large enough for lengthy travel, but as a City bag or day bag it's perfect.Overall an excellent choice for commuters, perfect for day trips or short overnight travel. The bag was a medium bag and I have a small one this seams like a large one to me fits my MacBook and more easily

After purchase take it to nearest Tumi store to personalize with initials. I use for airline travel to carry camera with 2 lenses, iPad or MacBook, headphones, kindle and misc personal items. Very well made with quality materials will last for many trips. Comes with sling strap built in that hides away if you don't use it. I use the shoulder strap that is also included.

For the price, one would expect a high-quality product and this one delivers. Construction is top-notch with very sturdy zippers. My only "complaint" would be that it is remarkably heavy...but that probably goes along with the quality.

I recently purchased this same product at full price from Tumi, only to find out shortly after that they were offering a 32% discount on the same item. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and has left me feeling deceived. It’s clear that the price I paid was never the fair value, as Tumi made me believe it was.Overall, this experience has tarnished my perception of Tumi, and I would caution others to be wary of their pricing practices and customer service.
